Abstract

La invención se refiere a una abrazadera de montaje de componente de freno para un sistema de eje/suspensión que incluye una soldadura de ventana continua para unir la abrazadera al eje, la cual permite el uso de un eje de pared delgada, reduciendo de manera deseable el peso y costo asociados con el sistema de eje/suspensión. Al menos una ventana se forma en la porción de eje, y la porción de eje se conecta de manera rígida al eje por una soldadura continua formada en la ventana. La abrazadera de freno de eje es libre de una soldadura de línea entre la porción de eje y el eje.
