Abstract
Se describe en la presente invención una turbina eólica de eje horizontal y transmisión vertical para generación de energía eléctrica, que puede ser onshore u offshore, con reducción de materiales y estructuras en la Nacelle, en la torre y en la fundación, la cual lleva para la base de la torre gran parte del equipo, proporcionando la reducción del capex, lo que permite una reducción significativa de costes en operación y mantenimiento de las turbinas, lo que reduce el valor de la capacidad instalada (MW instalados) en un parque eólico. La transmisión de la energía mecánica del rotor se realiza por un sistema de eje vertical (6) al largo de la torre, utilizando la tecnología naval, con el apoyo de plataformas (1) para neutralizar los armónicos y conectado a transmisiones H/Vst (3) y V/Hmvst (4), acopladas a través de juntas de contracción y expansión (2). Además, el sistema de orientación activo del rotor (YAW control) (29), conectado al control de torque de las transmisiones, al control de los frenos y al control del paso de la hélice, permite el posicionamiento adecuado del rotor. La invención permite la comunicación inalámbrica entre torres y con un centro de control en una interfaz de aire, lo que aumenta la fiabilidad y la seguridad global del sistema.
