Abstract

Un clasificador axial, para separar las partículas gruesas de un flujo de fluido que tiene tanto partículas finas como gruesas, que comprende una carcasa que forma una primera cámara para que el flujo de fluido entre al clasificador, un ensamble de álabes proporcionado dentro de la carcasa, en donde el ensamble de álabes incluye una pluralidad de aletas alineada alrededor de un desviador de flujo, un miembro cónico que forma una segunda cámara para que el flujo de fluido pase hacia dentro de la misma, en donde el miembro cónico incluye una abertura para que las partículas gruesas separadas del flujo de fluido pasen a través de la misma, y una salida para que las partículas restantes en el flujo de fluido después de la separación de las partículas gruesas salgan del clasificador, en donde la pluralidad de aletas del ensamble de álabes colinda con una superficie externa del desviador de flujo para dirigir el flujo de fluido desde la primera cámara hacia la segunda cámara de manera que congrega las partículas gruesas para la clasificación.
