Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para mantener el color de una película curada formada a partir de una composición de recubrimiento sobre un sustrato de metal con relación a un estándar, que comprende las etapas de proporcionar una resina, proporcionar un pigmento, combinar el pigmento y la resina para formar la composición de recubrimiento, aplicar la composición de recubrimiento al sustrato de metal, curar la composición de recubrimiento para formar la película curada que tiene un color definido por un valor L, un valor a y un valor b, y mantener el color con relación al estándar que tiene un valor Ls, un valor as, y un valor bs por lo cual el valor L, el valor a y el valor b cada uno cambia menos del 20% respectivamente, comparado con el valor L5, el valor as y el valor bs del estándar. La película curada tiene una reflectancia solar mayor que o igual a 0.75 en la longitud de onda de 250-2,500 nm.
