Abstract

Se presentan un sistema y un método para intercambiar calor en sistemas (100) de celdas de combustible en el que los gases de desecho del ánodo y del cátodo se suministran en trayectorias de flujo separadas. En una modalidad, cuando una pila (110) de celdas de combustible tiene trayectorias separadas de flujo del gas de desecho del ánodo y del cátodo, el gas de desecho del ánodo separado proveniente de la o las pila de celdas de combustible (110) y al menos un fluido de transferencia de calor se hacen pasar a través de un primer elemento (126) de intercambio de calor para intercambiar calor entre el gas de desecho del ánodo y el fluido de transferencia de calor.
