Abstract
Se forman nanocatalizadores de reformacion usando un agente dispersante para incrementar la actividad, selectividad y longevidad del catalizador cuando se usa en un proceso de reformacion. Las particulas de nanocatalizador se forman usando un agente dispersante que tiene por lo menos un grupo funcional seleccionado del grupo de un hidroxilo, un carboxilo, un carbonilo, una amida, una amina, un tiol, un acido sulfonico, haluro de sulfonilo, un haluro de acilo, un complejo organometalico y combinaciones de estos. El agente dispersante es particularmente util para formar catalizadores multicomponentes que comprenden una aleacion, combinacion, mezcla, ordenamiento o interdispersion de platino y uno o mas de estano, renio o iridio. La formacion de las nanoparticulas puede incluir un proceso de tratamiento con calor realizado en un medio ambiente inerte u oxidado para mantener los atomos de catalizador en un estado de oxidacion no de cero para mantener de esta manera un enlace mas fuerte entre el agente dispersante y los atomos de catalizador.
