Abstract

Se describe un ensamble de mordaza de corte/sello mejorado en BOPs tipo mordaza; la invencion descrita es un ensamble unico de mordaza de corte/sello en donde los accionadores de sello de riel fijos a o integralmente formados en una superficie plana de una cuchilla se acoplan con y se deslizan dentro de las ranuras guia de riel correspondientes formadas en una superficie plana de una segunda cuchilla; a media que las cuchillas se mueven una sobra la otra, los accionadores de sello de riel se deslizan dentro de las ranuras guia de riel, finalmente entrando en contacto con una placa del accionador de sello de un ensamble de sello cuchilla a cuchilla unico colocado dentro de una ranura de sello de cuchilla; movimiento continuo de las cuchillas sobre cada una provoca que se compriman los accionadores de sello de riel, o "energicen", el sello de cuchilla a cuchilla del ensamble de sello de cuchilla a cuchilla, proporcionando asi un sello hermetico a la presion entre los ensambles de cuchilla.
