Abstract
본 발명은 와이드 텔레비젼 수상기에 있어 휘도신호를 이용한 화이트 보더 발생장치에 관한 것으로서, 종래에는 16:9의 비율을 갖는 화면에 4:3의 비율을 갖는 영상신호를 디스플레이하는 경우 블랭킹부분과 유효화면이 잘 구병되지 않거나, 유효화면의 영상신호가 실제보다 밝아지는 문제점을 가지고 있으므로 이를 감안하여 본 발명은 1/N 분주기에서 공급되는 기준 수평동기신호(H.ref)의 라이징 에지에서부터 PLL 및 클력발진부에서 공급되는 클럭펄스(CLK)를 카운팅하여 유효화면(S)이 시작되는 부분과 끝나는 부분에서 각각 하이 레벨의 스위칭신호(Sa)를 출력하는 스위칭신호 발생기와, 상기 스위칭신호 발생기에서 공급되는 스위칭신호(Sa)에 의해 클램프 회로에서 출력되는 휘도/색차신호(Y)(U)(V) 혹은 화이트 보더전압(Vc)(Vb)(Vc)을 선택하여 R.G.B 매트릭스에 공급하는 스위칭 IC를 구성함으로써, 화면의 보더에 화이트 보더를 디스플레이하여 유효화면과 블랭킹 부분을 보다 효과적으로 구별할 수 있도록 한 것이다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
