Abstract
본 발명은 자동차의 핸들 코아(steering wheel core) 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 외측의 림(10)과 내부에 보스(40)가 구비된 중앙부분의 허브(20)를 스포크(30a, 30b)로 연결시켜 제조하는 자동차 핸들 코아의 제조방법에 있어서, 열경화성 수지를 매트릭스(matrix)로 하는 섬유강화 복합재를 이용하여 상기 림(10)을 성형하는 한편, 금속재를 이용하여 상기 보스(40)를 가공한 후, 이들 림(10)과 보스(40)를 금형내의 적절한 위치에 투입하고, 이 금형에 열가소성 수지를 매트릭스로 하는 섬유강화 복합재를 주입하여, 상기 허브(20) 및 스포크(30)를 상기 림(10) 및 보스(40)와 일체로 사출성형하는 것을 특징으로 함으로써, 종래의 스틸핸들코아에 비해 굽힘피로 특성이 우수하고, 또 중량 감소에 의해 핸들의 조향안정성 및 고유진동특성을 개선시켜 주는 핸들코아를 제공해 주는 것이다.The present invention relates to a steering wheel core of a motor vehicle and a method of manufacturing the same.
