본 발명은 비디오테이프의 녹화속도제어장치에 관한 것으로, 비디오테이프의 녹화시간제어를 위해 그 비디오테이프의 소정녹화시간의 위치에 형성되는 광반사패턴과, 상기 비디오테이프에 대한 프로그램의 예약녹화모드와 예약녹화데이터를 입력하기 위한 리모콘수단, OSD발생수단에서 발생된 예약녹화데이터의 등록을 위한 OSD화면에서 설정되는 예약녹화 데이터가 등록되는 예약데이터메모리, 상기 비디오테이프의 주행계상에 설치되어 상기 광반사패턴을 광검추하는 패턴검출검출수단과, 상기 광반사패턴이 검출되는 시점에서 상기 비디오테이프에 대한 녹화속도모드를 저속으로 변경하여 예약녹화가 수행되도록 제어하는 마이컴을 구비하여 구성되고, 상기 광반사패턴은 녹화속도의 변경이 필요한 비디오테이프의 녹화가능한 종단부분에서 소정녹화분량 이전에 형성되며, 상기 패턴검출수단은 상기 비디오테이프의 주행계에서 그 광반사패턴의 검출을 위해 상호 일정한 각도를 유지하면서 일체로 형성된 발광다이오드와 수광다이오드에 의해 모듈형태로 구성된 것이다.The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling a recording speed of a video tape, comprising: a light reflection pattern formed at a position of a predetermined recording time of the video tape for controlling the recording time of the video tape; and a reserved recording mode of a program for the video tape.
