Abstract
본 발명은 자동차 배기관을통하여 배출되는 배기가스를 정화시키기는 자동차의 배기가스 정화장치에 관한 것으로, 엔진의 배기 매니폴드에 연결된 프론트 배기관에 이 배기관을 통하여 배출되는 배기가스를 정화하기 위한 언더바디 크로스 컨버터가 장착된 것에 있어서, 상기 배기 매니폴드와 프론트 배기관의 사이에 초기 배기가스를 정화시키기 위한 매니폴드 크로스 컨버터를 장착하여 구성한 것이다. 이와 같은 본 발명의 배기가스 정화장치에 의하면, 엔진으로 부터 배출되는 배기가스가 매니폴드 크로스 컨버터에서 1차로 정화되고 다시 언더바디 크로스 컨버터를 통고하면서 2차로 정화되므로 종래와 같은 엔진 시동의 초기에서 발생되는 배기가스위 증가를 줄일 수 있는 등 보다 완벽한 정화 작용을 이룰수 있다. 따라서 배기가스 규제에 의한 강화 법규에 적기 대응할 수 있다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a vehicle exhaust gas purification device for purifying exhaust gas discharged through an automobile exhaust pipe, and an underbody cross for purifying exhaust gas discharged through the exhaust pipe to a front exhaust pipe connected to an exhaust manifold of an engine. In the case where the converter is mounted, a manifold cross converter for purifying initial exhaust gas is provided between the exhaust manifold and the front exhaust pipe. According to the exhaust gas purification device of the present invention, since the exhaust gas discharged from the engine is first purified in the manifold cross converter and secondly purified while passing the underbody cross converter again, it occurs in the early stage of engine start as in the prior art. More complete purification can be achieved by reducing the increase in exhaust gas levels. Therefore, it is possible to respond in a timely manner to the strengthening regulations by the exhaust gas regulation.
