Abstract

본 발명은 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물, 이를 함유하는 액정 혼합물 및 전광 디스플레이 장치를 상기 화합물 및 혼합물 각각의 용도에 관한 것이다.
상기 식에서, R1은 하나의 CH2그룹의 산소 원자로 대체되고/되거나 하나 이상의 수소 원자가 불소 원자로 대체될 수 있는 C1-C5-알킬 또는 C3-C5-알케닐이고; X는 H 또는 F이고; A 및 B는, 각각 독립적으로, 1 또는 2개의 불소 원자로 임의로 치환된 트랜스-1, 4-사이클로헥실렌, 트랜스-1, 3디옥산-2, 5-디일, 피리딘-2, 5-디일, 피리미딘-2, 5-디일 또는 1, 4-페닐렌이고; Z1및 Z2는, 각각 독립적으로, 단일 결합, -CH2-CH2-, -O-CH2-, -CH2--O-, -C≡C-, -(CH2)4-, -O(CH2)3-, -(CH2)3O- -CH=-CH2O- 또는 -CH=CH-(CH2)2-이고, Z2는 또한 -OCH2-CH=CH- 또는 -(CH2)2-CH=CH-이나; 단, Z1및 Z2그룹중 적어도 하나는 단일 결합이며; n은 0 또는 1이고; R2는 하나 이상의 비인접 CH2그룹이 산소 대체될 수 있고/있거나 하나 이상의 수소 원자가 불소 원자로 대체될 수 있는 C2-C12-알킬 또는 C2-C12-알케닐이다.

Claims (13)

  1. 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물:
    상기 식에서, R1은 하나의 CH2그룹이 산소 원자로 대체되고/되거나 하나 이상의 수소 원자가 불소 원자로 대체될 수 있는 C1-C5-알킬 또는 C3-C5-알케닐이고; X는 H 또는 F이고; A 및 B는, 각각 독립적으로, 1 또는 2개의 불소 원자로 임의로 치환된 트랜스-1, 4-사이클로헥실렌, 트랜스-1, 3디옥산-2, 5-디일, 피리딘-2, 5-디일, 피리미딘-2, 5-디일 또는 1, 4-페닐렌이고; Z1및 Z2는, 각각 독립적으로, 단일 결합, -CH2-CH2-, -O-CH2-, -CH2-O-, -C≡C-, -(CH2)4-, -O(CH2)3-, -(CH2)3O- -CH=-CH-CH2O- 또는 -CH=CH-(CH2)2-이고, Z2는 또한 -OCH2-CH=CH- 또는 -(CH2)2-CH=CH-이나; 단, Z1및 Z2그룹중 적어도 하나는 단일 결합이며; n은 0 또는 1이고; R2는 하나 이상의 비인접 CH2그룹이 산소 대체될 수 있고/있거나 하나 이상의 수소 원자가 불소 원자로 대체될 수 있는 C2-C12-알킬 또는 C2-C12-알케닐이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, R1이 메틸, 에틸 또는 프로필인 화합물.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, R2가 2 내지 6개의 탄소 원자를 갖고, 에틸, 프로필, 부틸, 펜틸, 헥실, 비닐, 1E-프로페닐, 1E-부테닐, 1E-펜테닐, 1E-헥세닐, 3E-부테닐 또는 4-펜테닐인 화합물.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, Z1및 Z2가 단일결합 또는 -CH2CH2-인 화합물.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 고리 A 및 B가 트랜스-1, 4-사이클로헥실렌, 트랜스-1, 3-디옥산-2, 5-디일 또는 1, 4-페닐렌인 화합물.
  6. 하기 화학식 8의 화합물:
    상기 식에서, R11은 C1-C3-알킬이고; X는 H 또는 F이고;R21은 C2-C6-알킬 또는 C2-C5-알케닐이다.
  7. 하기 화학식 9의 화합물:
    상기 식에서, R11은 C1-C3-알킬이고; X는 H 또는 F이고;R21은 C2-C6-알킬 또는 C2-C5-알케닐이다.
  8. 하기 화학식 10의 화합물:
    상기 식에서, R11은 C1-C3-알킬이고; X는 H 또는 F이고;R21은 C2-C6-알킬 또는 C2-C5-알케닐이다.
  9. 성분중 하나 이상이 제1항에 정의된 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물인, 2개 이상의 성분을 갖는 액정 혼합물.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물의 함량이 1 내지 70중량%인 액정 혼합물.
  11. 제9항 또는 제10항에 있어서, 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물의 함량이 5 내지 20중량%인 액정 혼합물.
  12. 제1항에 정의된 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물의 전공 장치를 위한 용도.
  13. 제9항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 따르는 액정 혼합물의 전광 광치를 위한 용도.
