Abstract

로크 가능한 전기 커넥터(10)는 결합축(14)을 따라 상보형 커넥터(12)와 결합 및 고정되도록 제공된다. 전도성 실드(22)는 내부에 단자를 구비한 하우징의 적어도 본체부 둘레에 배치된다. 한 쌍의래치 아암(30)은 일반적으로 커넥터의 양 측부 상에 위치되고 상보형 커넥터 상의 적절한 래치(32)와 맞물림 고정되도록 구성된다. 래치 아암은 고정된 위치로부터 해제된 위치로 결합축의 횡방향 외측으로 굴곡이 가능하다. 지지 부재(26)는 래치 아암(30)의 자유로운 굴곡 운동을 허용하는 제1위치와 지지 부재의 일체부가 해제된 위치로 외측으로 래치 아암의 굴곡을 제한하기 위해 래치 아암의 외측에 위치되는 제2위치 사이에서 이동하도록 조립체(24)상에 미끄럼 가능하도록 장착된다.

제1도는 인쇄 회로 기판에 장착된 상보형 커넥터와 함께, 본 발명의 개념을 구체화하는 로크 가능한 전기 커넥터의 사시도, 제2도는 로크 가능한 커넥터의 래치 아암을 포함하는 보호판의 사시도, 제3도는 전기 케이블에 고정된 단자들을 각각 도시하는 평면도 및 측면도.

Claims (11)

  1. 결합축을 따라 상보형 커넥터와 결합 및 고정되기 위한 로크 가능한 전기 커넥터에 있어서, 내부에 단자를 구비한 하우징의 적어도 본체부 둘레에 배치된 전도성 실드와, 일반적으로 커넥터의 양 측부 상에 위치되고 상보형 커넥터 상의 적절한 래치 수단과 맞물림 고정되도록 구성되며, 고정된 위치로부터 해제된 위치로 결합축의 횡방향 외측으로 굴곡 가능한 한 쌍의 래치 아암과, 전도성 실드의 적어도 일부분 둘레에 배치된 유전성 본체와, 래치 아암의 자유로운 굴곡 운동을 허용하는 제1위치와 지지 부재의 일체부가 해제된 위치로 외측으로의 래치 아암의 굴곡을 제한하기 위해 래치 아암의 외측에 위치되는 제2위치 사이에서 이동하도록 그 본체 상에 미끄럼 가능하게 장착되는 1개의 지지 부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 로크 가능한 전기 커넥터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 하우징은 전도성 실드 내에 위치되고, 그 다음에 본체는 적어도 실드의 일부분 둘레에 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 로크 가능한 전기 커넥터.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 본체는 적어도 상기 실드의 일부분 둘레에 삽입-성형된 것을 특징으로 하는 로크 가능한 전기 커넥터.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 래치 아암은 전도성 실드 둘레에 위치된 금속 보호판의 전방 돌출부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 로크 가능한 전기 커넥터.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 본체는 래치 아암을 본체로부터 자유롭게 돌출되게 한 상태에서 보호판과 적어도 실드의 일부분 둘레에 삽입-성형되는 것을 특징으로 하는 로크 가능한 전기 커넥터.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 본체 및 상기 지지 부재 각각은 플라스틱 재료로 성형되고, 지지 부재의 재료는 본체의 재료보다 현저히 단단한 것을 특징으로 하는 로크 가능한 전기 커넥터.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 래치 아암은 금속 재료로 제조되고, 상기 1개의 지지부재는 플라스틱 재료로 성형되는 것을 특징으로 하는 로크 가능한 전기 커넥터.
  8. 상보형 커넥터와 결합 및 고정되기 위한 로크 가능한 케이블 전기 커넥터를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 단자 수용 통로를 구비한 하우징을 제공하고, 상기 통로 내에 위치하여 케이블의 복수의 도선의 각각에 종단 접속되는 복수의 단자를 제공하고, 전도성 실드를 하우징의 본체부 둘레에 위치시키고, 보호판으로부터 돌출되고 상보형 커넥터 상의 적절한 래치 수단과 맞물림 고정되기에 적합하게 구성된 가요성 래치 아암을 구비한 전도성 보호판을 적어도 실드의 일부분 둘레에 위치시키고, 래치 아암을 본체로부터 자유롭게 돌출되게 한 상태에서 보호판 및 적어도 실드의 일부분 둘레에 본체를 삽입-성형하고, 래치 아암의 자유로운 굴곡 운동을 허용하는 제1위치와 래치 아암의 굴곡을 차단하는 제2위치 사이에서 이동하도록 본체 상에 지지 부재를 미끄럼 가능하게 장착하는 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 실드의 일부분을 전기 케이블의 실드로 크림프되게 하는 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제8항에 있어서, 전도성 재료로 구성된 보호판을 제공하고, 보호판을 실드 상에 전도성 맞물림되게 위치시키는 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 전도성 실드를 2개의 부분으로 제공하고, 실드의 2개의 부분 사이에 하우징을 끼워서 실드를 단자 수단 둘레에 조립하는 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
