본 발명은 광픽업 구동장치에 관한 것으로, 종래의 광픽업 구동장치는 가동부(3)와 고정부(6)가 분리된 상태에서 상기 가동부(3)가 소정의 탄성수단에 의해 지지됨으로써 가동부 외부에 별도의 탄성지지수단을 설치해야하므로, 기기의 박형화가 어렵고, 이러한 탄성지지수단으로 인해 부품이 증대되어 원가가 상승되는 문제점이 있었는 바, 대물렌즈와 광학가동부품으로 구성한 가동부와; 상기 가동부의 중심부에 삽입되는 가동축과, 상기 광학가동부품과 상호작용하는 광학고정부품으로 구성하여 상기 가동부의 가동축 방향으로의 이동 및 회전을 가능케하는 고정부로 이루어져 포커싱/트랙킹을 수행하는 광픽업 구동장치에 있어서, 상기 고정부 또는 가동부 어느 한편에 부착된 포커싱/트랙킹용 마그네트와; 다른 한편에 상기 마그네트와 대향하여 부착된 자성체로 구성된 지지수단을 포함하여서 된 본 발명을 제공하여 대물렌즈가 부착된 가동부와 가동부의 회동을 허용하면서 가동부를 고정하는 고정부간의 결합을 기구적 수단을 이용하지 않고 자기력에 의해 유지시키도록 한 것이다.The present invention relates to an optical pickup driving apparatus.
