Abstract
본 발명은 VSAT 위성통신망의 트랙픽처리 성능을 컴퓨터로 모의실험을 할 수 있는 시뮬레이터에 관한 것으로, 패킷의 생성과 전송을 처리하고, 중앙제어국으로부터 수신되는 패킷을 받아 처리하며, 각각은 동일한 분포의 패킷도착 간격을 가지는 다수의 VSAT 단말수단과, 상기 다수의 VSAT 단말수단에 연결되며, 처리중에 발생하는 시간지연(ROUND TRIP DELAY)을 고려하여 인바운드(INBOUND)채널과 아웃바운드(OUTBOUND)채널 그리고 상향링크(UPLINK)와 하향링크(DOWN LINK)트래픽을 중계하는 위성 중계수단과, 상기 위성 중계수단을 거쳐 상기 다수의 VSAT 단말수단들로부터 오는 패킷에 대하여 슬롯, 예약요구, 예약(SLOTTED, RESERVATION REQUEST, RESERVATION)모드에 따라 처리한 후 상기 다수의 VSAT 단말수단으로 해당 패킷의 처리결과를 전송하는 중앙제어수단을 구비한다.The present invention relates to a simulator that can simulate the traffic processing performance of a VSAT satellite network with a computer.
