Abstract
본 발명은 차량 충돌 방지 장치에 있어서, 적색 필터 및 렌즈, 광 검출기로 이루어진 광학계로서 앞차 뒷부분의 적색브레이크 램프의 발광 여부를 감지하여, 자차에 경보 및 제동을 가하여 차간 거리를 일정하게 유지 시켜주는 시스템의 보조 센서로 이용 가능한 적색 램프 감지 센서에 의한 차량 충돌 방지 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 종래의 차량 충돌 경보 장치 또는 차량 충돌 방지 장치는 차간 거리 및 상대속도를 측정하 후 충돌 예정 시간을 산정하여 운전자에게 경보를 주거나 제동을 가하는 방법이 사용되므로, 앞차의 급제등 등 급변하는 주변 환경에 능동적으로 대처하지 못하여 실제 충돌 위험이 없을 때에도 경보를 행하게 되는 경우가 발생할 수 있으며, 앞차의 급제동에 따른 상태 감속도의 측정에는 계산량이 많고 정확도가 떨어지는 단점이 있어 보완이 요구되는 문제점이 있었다.The present invention relates to a vehicle collision preventing device, comprising a red filter, a lens, and a photo detector, which detects whether a red brake lamp emits light at the rear of a front vehicle, and applies a warning and a brake to a host vehicle to maintain a constant distance between vehicles.
