Abstract

최소한 하나의 단자 수용 캐비티(22)를 갖는 유전체 하우징을 포함하는 전기 커넥터용 보유 시스템이 제공되었다. 단자(10)은 하우징의 삽입면(26)을 통하여 캐비티내로 삽입 가능하다. 단자는 판금 물질로부터 스탬핑되고 단자 수용 캐비티에 압입 끼워맞추어지는 대체로 평면인 보유 몸체부(16)을 포함한다. 캐비티 및 하우징의 삽입면과 통하는 홈(32)가 하우징내에 제공되었다. 홈은 단자의 삽입 방향으로 연장된 대향 측벽(32a)를 갖는다. 단자는 몸체부로부터 스탬핑되고 홈내로 삽입가능한 보유 보스(20)을 포함한다. 보스는 홈의 측벽과 강제로 끼워 맞추어지는 것을 설정하는 측벽을 갖는다. 양호하게, 보스는 대체로 단면이 땅콩모양이고, 홈의 측벽과 4개의 접점(36)을 제공하는 한 쌍의 확대된 로브부(34)를 한정한다.

Claims (9)

  1. 하나 이상의 단자 수용 캐비티(22), 캐비티 내로 하우징의 삽입면(26)을 통하여 삽입가능한 단자(10)을 갖는 유전체 하우징(24)를 포함하고, 단자는 판금 물질로 스탬핑되고, 한 단부에는 결합부(12) 및 대향 단부에는 그 사이에 보유 몸체부(16)이 있는 단자부(14,14a)를 포함하고, 단자 몸체부는 평면 모양이며, 대향 측면(16, 16a)와 대향 측면 연부(16c, 16d)를 한정하고, 단자 수용 캐비티는 단자 몸체부의 측면에 인접한 대향 측벽(22a,22b)와 단자 몸체부의 측면 연부에 인접한 대향 단부 벽(22c,22d)에 의해 한정되는 보유 단면을 포함하는, 전기 커넥터에 있어서, 단자 수용 케비티 및 하우징의 삽입면과 통하는 하우징 내의 홈(32)를 포함하고, 상기 홈은 단자의 삽입 방향으로 연장되고, 평면 단자 몸체부에 수직인 대향 측벽(32a)를 가지며 단자는 단자 몸체부로부터 스탬핑되고 홈내로 삽입가능한 보유 보스(20)을 포함하고, 상기 보스는 홈의 측벽과의 강제 끼워맞춤을 설정하는 측벽을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 보스(20)은 홈(32)의 측벽(32a)와의 4개의 접점을 제공하는 확대된 한쌍의 로브부(34)를 한정하도록 평면 단자 몸체부와 평행하게 단면이 땅콩 모양인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 단자 수용 캐비티와 단자 몸체부(16)의 상기 단면이 각각 단자 몸체부의 측면 연부(16c,16d)와 캐비티 단면의 단부벽(22c,22d) 사이의 압입 끼워맞춤을 설정하기 위한 크기로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 보스의 하나 이상의 측벽이 홈(32)의 각 측벽(32a)에 강제 결합되기 위해 단자의 삽입방향으로 이격된 한 쌍 이상의 로브부(35)을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 보스의 양 측벽이 홈(32)의 대향 측벽(32a)에 강제 결합되기 위해 상기 이격된 한쌍의 로브부(36)을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 단자 수용 캐비티와 단자 몸체부(16)의 상기 단면이 단자 몸체부의 측면 연부(16c, 16d)와 캐비티 단면의 단부벽(22c,22d) 사이의 압입 끼워맞춤을 설정하기 위한 크기로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 단자 몸체부의 하나 이상의 측면 연부(16c, 16d)가 함몰부 (18)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 유전체 하우징(24)은 하우징 캐비티의 인접한 단부벽(22c,22d)에 대해 단자의 한 측면 연부의 압입 끼워맞춤에 대응하여 함몰부(18)로 연장가능하도록 플라스틱 물질로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유전체 하우징(24)은 다수의 상기 단자 수용 캐비티(22)를 갖고 캐비티내로 삽입가능한 다수의 상기 단자(10)을 포함하고, 단자의 단자부(14)는 인쇄 회로 기판(40)의 표면상의 적절한 회로 트레이스에 표면 장착되기 위해 동일 평면 푸트부(14a)를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
