Abstract
본 발명은 HDTV(고선명 TV)수상기에서 화면 종횡비 3:4의 영상신호를 종횡비 9:16의 스크린상에 확대하여 표시하는 줌(ZOOM)모드 동작을 수행함에 있어 사용자가 키이 조작을 통해 표시화면을 수직으로 위치 이동시켜 시청할수 있도록한 화면 수직 이동장치와 그 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 종래의 화면 수직 이동장치에 의하면 멀티바이브레이터로 수직동기 지연을 수행하기 때문에 지연단계와 시간이 고정적으로 가변 불가능하여 3:4화면중 시청자가 원하는 시청 가능 영역을 선별할수 없는 제약과, 동기변환에 따른 잡음발생 및 이에 의한 화질저하가 초래되는 문제점을 해결하기 위한 것이다.In the present invention, the user performs a zoom mode operation in which an HDTV (high definition TV) receiver displays an image signal having a screen aspect ratio of 3: 4 on a screen having an aspect ratio of 9:16.
