Abstract

The circuit for automatically adjusting the aperture of an iris in response to video signals obtained from a charge coupled device (1) to optimise the brightness of targetted object comprises an iris driving signal generator (10), an iris adjuster (30) for controlling a motor (M), a window pulse generator (20) for dividing a picture of a video signal into several areas to generate window pulse signals and a signal selector (13) for receiving the window pulse signal to select the corresponding video signal.
