제4도는 본발명에 따른 브리지의 한 실시예를 도시한 블럭도.

Claims (2)

  1. IEEE 802.3 근거리 통신망을 비동기식 시분할 다중 전기 통신망에 접속시키기 위한 브리지에 있어서, 비동기식 시분할 다중 전기 통신망의 데이타 전송 프로토콜의 계층 2.1의 기능을 구현하는 제1수단 및 상기 제1수단에 접속되고, 근거리 통신망내의 데이타 전송 프로토콜의 계층1의 기능을 구현하는 제2수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 브리지.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1수단이 전기 통신망 데이타 전송 프로토콜의 계층2.1의 기능을 구현하는 프로토콜프로세싱 회로, 데이타 메모리, 프로세서, 송신 명령 메모리, 수신 명령 메모리, 직접 액세스 메모리, 셀 수신 메모리, 프로토콜 프로세싱 회로, 데이타 메모리, 명령 메모리 및 직접 액세스 메모리에 접속된 데이타 버스, 프로토콜 프로세싱 회로 및 데이타 메모리에 접속된 어드레스 버스 및 프로세서, 직접 액세스 메모리, 데이타 메모리 및 제어 메모리에 접속된 프로세서 버스를 포함하고, 상기 제2수단이 적접 액세스 메모리에 의해 프로세서에 접속된 근리 통신망에 적합한 물리적 인터페이스 회로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 브리지.
