Claims (11)

  1. 제1성분과 1개 이상의 다른 성분으로 된 증기상의 혼합물을 제1흡착대역에서 적어도 제1성분의 첫번째 분획이 흡착되고 또 제2흡착대역에서 적어도 제1성분의 두번째 분획이 흡착되는 조건하에서 최소 평균 입도 보다 큰 평균 입도를 갖는 첫번째 입자상 흡착제 물질로 구성된 제1흡착대역을 통해주고 또 이어 제1흡착대역으로 부터의 배출물을 상기 최소 평균 입도를 넘지 않는 크기의 평균 입도를 갖는 두번째 입자상 흡착제 물질로 구성된 제2흡착대역을 통해주고 또 제2흡착대역으로 부터의 제1성분이 고갈된 생성물을 배출시키는 단계로 구성되는 혼합물 중의 제1성분 분리방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 제1 및 제2흡착대역 중간에 제3흡착대역이 위치하며, 이 제3흡착대역은 제1 및 제2흡착대역에서 사용된 입자상 흡착물질의 혼합물을 함유하는 분리방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 제1 및 제2입자상 흡착제 물질이 동일 조성을 갖는 분리방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 분리 조건이 -73 내지 427℃의 온도와 0.67 내지 6875kPa의 압력인 분리방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 제2흡착대역이 적어도 1개의 제1성분 물질 이동대역을 함유하는데 충분한 량의 제2입자상 흡착제 물질로 구성되는 분리방법.
  6. 반복적 순환공정을 갖게되며 또 1회 순환 주기가 약 30초 이상이 되는 제1성분과 1개 이상의 다른 성분으로 구성된 혼합물로 부터 제1성분을 분리하는 방법에 있어서, 순환공정이 (a) 증기상의 혼합물을 제1흡착대역에서 적어도 제1성분의 첫번째 분획이 또 제2흡착대역에서 적어도 제1성분의 두번째 분획이 선택적으로 흡착되는데 충분한 온도 및 압력 조건하에서 평균입도 1.41㎜ 메쉬 이상을 갖는 1개 또는 그 이상의 입자상 흡착제를 함유하는 제1흡착대역과 평균 입도 1.41㎜메쉬 미만을 갖는 1개 또는 그 이상의 입자상 흡착제를 함유하는 제2흡착대역으로 구성된 연속되는 다수대역 흡착제 층에 통해주고; (b) 제2흡착대역으로 부터 제1성분이 고갈된 생성물을 배출시키며; 또 (c) 제1흡착제층에 상기 혼합물 흐름의 공급을 중단하여 이 흡착제층을 재생하며, 제1 및 제2흡착제층으로 부터 제1성분을 탈리시키고 또 이 제1성분으로 구성된 재생 흐름을 회수하는 단계로 구성되는 분리방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 제1입자상 흡착제 물질이 활성탄이며 또 제2대역에서의 제2입자상 흡착제 물질이 지올라이트 분자체인 분리방법.
  8. 제6항에 있어서, 제1 및 제2입자상 흡착제 물질이 파우자사이트(faujasite)형의 지올라이트 분자체로 구성되는 분리방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 제1 및 제2흡착대역에서의 입자상 흡착제 물질이 5A 지올라이트 분자체로 구성되는 분리방법.
  10. 제6항에 있어서, 탈리 단계가 흡착제 층에서의 압력을 제1성분의 선택적 흡착 압력 보다 낮은 압력으로 감소시켜서 행해지는 분리 방법.
  11. 제6항에 있어서, 제1성분이 수소이고, 또 다른 성분이 일산화탄소, 메탄 및 질소로 구성된 군에서 선정된 분리방법.
