Claims (5)
- 단일 액정 광 밸브(38)을 사용하는 필드-순차 전-색 액정 투사 시스템에 있어서, 비편광된 백색 광선의 비임에 의해 조명될때 제1편광 상태의 편광 백색 광선의 비임을 제공하기 위한 편광기(12), 편광된 백색 광선의 비임들 중 한 비임을 수신하도록 배치되고, 제1색(B)의 제1 비임과 제2색(R) 및 제3색(G)의 제2비임을 제공하는 제1비임 분할기(14), 제2비임을 수신하도록 배치되고, 제2색(R)의 제3비임과 제3(G)의 제4비임을 제공하는 제2비임 분할기(16), 제2, 제3 및 제4 비임을 수신하도록 배치되고, 이 제2, 제3 및 제4비임의 편광을 제2편광 상태로 선택적으로 변화시키는 광스위치장치(20,22 및 24), 및 제1 또는 제2편광 상태들 중 한 상태의 광선을 액정 광 밸브(38)로 전송하기 위해 광스위치 장치(20,22 및 24)로 부터 출력 비임을 수신하도록 배치된 주 프리즘(46)으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 필드-순차 전-색 액정 투사 시스템.
- 단일 액정 광 밸브(38)을 사용하는 필드-순차 색 액정 투사 시스템에 있어서, 비편광된 백색 광선의 비임에 의해 조명될때 제1편광 상태의 편광 백색 광선의 비임을 제공하기 위한 편광기(12), 편광된 백색 광선의 비임을 수신하도록 배치되고, 제1색(B)의 제1비임과 제2색(R) 및 제3색(G)의 제2비임을 제공하는 제1비임 분할기(14), 제2비임을 수신하도록 배치되고, 제2색(R)의 제3비임을 제공하는 제2비임 분할기(16), 제1 및 제3비임을 각각 수신하도록 배치되고, 제1 및 제3비임의 편광물의 편광을 제2편광상태로 선택적으로 변화시키는 제1 및 제2광스위치 장치(20 및 22), 및 제1 또는 제2편광 상태들 중 한 상태의 광선을 액정 광밸브(38)로 전송하기 위해 광스위치 장치(20 및 22)로부터 출력 비임을 수신하도록 배치된 주 프리즘(46)으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 필드-순차 색 액정 투사 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 편광기(12)가 또한 비편광된 백색 광선의 비임에 의해 조명될 때 제2편광상태의 편광 광선의 비임을 제공하고, 제2비임 분할기(16)이 또한 제3색(G)의 제4비임을 제공하며, 제3광스위치 장치(24)가 제4비임을 수신하도록 배치되고, 제4비임의 편광을 제2편광 상태로 선택적으로 변화시키며, 주프리즘(46)이 또한 제3광스위치 장치(24)로부터 출력 비임을 수신하도록 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필드-순차 색 액정 투사 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 편광기(12)가 또한 비편광된 백색 광선의 비임에 의해 조명될 때 제2편광 상태의 편광 광선의 비임을 제공하고, 제4비임 분할기(18)이 제2편광 상태의 백색 광선의 비임을 수신하도록 배치되고, 제3색(G)의 제5비임을 수신하도록 배치되고, 제5비임의 편광을 제2편광 상태로 선택적으로 변화시키며, 주 프리즘(46)이 또한 제4광스위치 장치(24)로부터 출력 비임을 수신하도록 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필드-순차 색 액정 투사 시스템.
- 제5항에 있어서, 주 편광 프리즘(48)이 편광 상태들(S 및 P)중의 한 상태의 광선을 전송하고 다른 편광 상태의 광선을 반사시키기 위한 장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 4색 액정 광 밸브 영상 투사기.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
