냉장고 등에 사용되는 왕복동식 밀폐형 압축기에 있어서, 모우터의 구동에 따른 회전운동력이 크랭크 샤프트 및 이에 연결된 커넥팅로드에 전달되면 피스톤이 실린더내부에서 왕복운동을 하면서 저압의 냉매가스를 고압으로 압축시켜주게 되는데, 이렇게 냉매가스를 압축시키는 과정에서 상기 각 부품들이 왕복 및 회전운동함에 따라, 또는 압축되어지는 냉매가스의 압력에 의하여 압축기를 구성하는 각 부품들에 무리한 힘이 가해져서 이들이 마모되거나 심한 경우 전단파괴되는 우려가 있고, 이를 방지하여 원활한 운전이 이루어지도록 해주는 것이 윤활장치인바, 종래에 사용되던 그 일반적인 형태는 제2도에서 도시한 바와 같이 모우터(도시되어 있지 않음)로부터 회전운동력을 전달받는 크랭크 샤프트(21)의 내부에 윤활유공급구멍(22)을 형성시키고, 이러한 크랭크샤프트(21)의 선단에 경사면이 갖추어져있는 한편, 외면에 깔때기 모양으로 된 윤활유픽업부(23)를 연결시켜 이를 밀폐용기의 내면하부에 고여있는 윤활유에 어느정도 잠겨지도록 한 상태에서 크랭크샤프트(21)를 고속회전 운동시켜주면, 상기 윤활유가 윤활유공급구멍(22)에 흡입되어 원심력에 의해 윤활유공급구멍(22) 상부로 통과한 다음 크랭크샤프트(21)와 커넥팅로드(24), 커넥팅로드(24)와 피스톤(25)과 실린더(29)사이의 마찰부에 이송되어져 윤활작용을 하게 되는데, 특히 커넥팅로드(24)와 피스톤(25), 피스톤(25)을 결합시켜주는 피스톤(26)의 형상이 그의 주면중앙부에 하나의 홈(27)이 형성된 형태로 되어 있어서, 이 홈(27)을 타고 윤활유가 이송되게 하므로서 커넥팅로드끝(28)까지 윤활유가 원활하게 공급되지 못할뿐아니라, 피스톤핀(26)의 전체에 골고루 급유가 이루어지지 못하게 되어 커넥팅로드(24)와 피스톤핀(26)의 접촉부위 및 피스톤 핀(26)과 피스톤(25)의 접촉부위가 심한 열과 함께 마모되어 피스톤핀(26)이 전단 파괴되는 문제점이 있었다.In the reciprocating hermetic compressor used in the refrigerator, when the rotational motion force driven by the motor is transmitted to the crank shaft and the connecting rod connected thereto, the piston reciprocates in the cylinder and compresses the refrigerant gas of low pressure to a high pressure.
