주지된 바와같이 원적외선 발열소자는 피건조물자체가 가지고 있는 고유의 적외선 흡수특성에 따라 해당 파장의 적외선을 방출시켜 조사하여야 하는바, 대개 건조용으로 사용되는 적외선 파장은 3정도 이상의 것을 요구하고 있으며, 그 재질로서 견고하고 절연성과 적외선파장이 양호한 마그네시아(Mgo) 및 그 화합물, 산화지루콘(ZrO2)아루미나 및 그 화합물 이산화규소(SiO2), 점토, 백로등을 적당비율로 혼합한 세라믹을 사용하는것이 바람직하다.As is well known, the far-infrared heating element should be irradiated by emitting infrared rays of the corresponding wavelengths according to the intrinsic infrared absorption characteristics of the object to be dried. 종래 원적외선 발열소자의 성형장치는 주로 일정형틀내에 반죽상의 세라믹 스립을 넣고 단번에 중공부가 형성된 완제품 형태로 성형하여 건조및 소성시킨후 그 외주연에 금속열선을 장치하거나 일정형틀내에 금속열선을 별도의 세라민 받침대 등으로 지지한다음 약간 묽은 세라믹을 부어 성형하였던 것으로서, 전자의 경우 금속열선이 외부로 노출되어 있기 때문에 적외선의 방열파장 영역이 좁아(예컨데 2이하) 그 용도가 한정적이었고 후자의 경우 금속열선이 세라믹몸체 내에 매몰되어있어 본고안과 유사한 효과를 얻을수는 있으나 성형시 금속열선을 별도의 세라믹 받침대등으로 받쳐주어야 함에따라 그 작업공정이 번거로워 생산가가 높아지는 요인이 되었으며, 특히 금속열선의 받침대가 죽상의 세라믹스립이 투입될때 유동할 우려가 많아 금속열선의 매몰깊이가 달라질 경우가 허다하였으며, 이로인해 균일한 성능의 제품을 얻을수가 없었다.Conventional molding apparatus of far-infrared heating element is mainly put dough-like ceramic slip in a mold, and molded into a finished product form in which hollow part is formed at once, and then dried and fired.
