고인성 질화규소 소결체(高靭性窒化珪素燒結體) 및 그 제조방법

제3도는 실시예에 있어서의 판상입자의 입경에 의한 파괴인성치의 변화를 나타낸 도면.

Claims (4)

  1. 질화규소를 주성분으로 하고, Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, W에서 선정되는 금속의 규화물 및/또는 탄화물의 판상입자의 1종 이상으로 이루어지며, 판상입자의 두께가 상기 판상입자의 단경의 5분의 1이하임을 특징으로 하는 고인성 질화규소 소결체.
  2. 상기 단경 d2이 소결체중의 다른 입자의 입경보다 크고 100μm보다 작으며, 또한 소결체 체적의 2∼13체적 %가 상기 판상입자로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 특허청구의 범위 1기재의 고인성 질화규소 소결체.
  3. 상기 판상입자는 그 주면의 장경 d1과 단경 d2과의 비(d1/d2)가 10이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 특허청구의 범위 1기재의 고인성 질화규소 소결체.
  4. Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, W의 규화물 및/또는 탄화물을 용융하고, 냉각하며 기계분쇄하여 판상의 분말을 얻는 일과, 얻어진 분말의 두께가 상기 분말의 단경의 5분의 1이하인 판상입자를 선별하는 일과, 상기 선별된 판상입자와 소결조제 및 질화규소분말과의 혼합물을, 가압성형하여 얻은 성형체를 성형체중의 판상입자가 실질적으로 용해, 반응, 변질하지 않는 온도에서 소결하는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소 소결체의 제조방법.
