Description
The present invention relates to a packaging material and a product packaging method using the same, and more specifically, to a packaging material that protects a product from impact, foreign substances, and the external environment during storage and transportation of the product, and a product packaging method using the same.
Figure 1 is a drawing showing a conventional range (gas range) packaging process.
As illustrated in Figure 1, in a conventional range packaging process, ranges (gas ranges and microwave ovens) are typically packaged using an outer box, cushioning material (cushion), bands (banding straps, tape), etc. The outer box is usually made of a cardboard box, and the cushioning material (cushion) is made of expanded polystyrene, etc.
The conventional range packaging process is briefly explained as follows.
First, the worker sets the individual components of the product (range) on an assembly table (S1) and assembles them (S2). Next, he creates an outer box with an open top (S3) and places multiple floor cushions inside the outer box (S4). The outer box is made into a hexahedral box, and the floor cushions are placed at the four corners of the box.
Then, the worker lifts the product and places it on the bottom cushions inside the hexahedral box (S5), and places the upper cushions on top of the product (S6). Finally, the worker closes and bands (tapes) the top of the outer box (S7) to complete the product packaging.
Packaging materials are used only during the transportation process from the manufacturer to the consumer, and are discarded after arrival. Therefore, as long as they do not compromise the product's ability to protect against shock and foreign objects during transportation, reducing packaging material usage can lower product prices and improve profits.
However, grounded outer boxes encompass the entire product and, with their upper and lower grounding structures, cover a large area. Furthermore, the additional manufacturing labor required for grounding wires, cutting, folding, and bonding increases the unit price. Furthermore, grounded outer boxes, due to their large surface area, take up significant space for packaging and storage when parts are received, resulting in significant management costs.
Furthermore, grounded outer boxes are expensive, resulting in significant financial losses if they are damaged, torn, or otherwise damaged. Furthermore, grounded outer boxes require a high packaging effort, as the materials are folded flat and then individually placed inside the box, along with cushioning materials and the product itself.
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a packaging material capable of quickly and accurately packaging a product while firmly protecting the product from impact and foreign substances during storage and transportation, and a product packaging method using the same.
In addition, the present invention provides a packaging material and a product packaging method using the same that reduces material costs by minimizing packaging materials discarded after product transportation, and reduces management costs by reducing losses in the transportation, loading, storage, and defects of parts.
In addition, the present invention provides a packaging material and a product packaging method using the same, which simplify the packaging process, reduce packaging assembly man-hours, and are advantageous for application to assembly automation equipment such as robots.

Fig. 4 is a perspective view showing step b) (S120) of a product packaging method (S100) using a packaging material according to an embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 5 is a plan view showing step b) (S120) of a product packaging method (S100) using a packaging material according to an embodiment of the present invention, and is a drawing showing a product (1) as a virtual line.
a) 단계(S110)가 완료되면, b) 단계(S120)가 수행된다. b) 단계(S120)는, 바텀보드(100)의 상면에 바텀쿠션(200)을 안착하는 단계이다. a) When step (S110) is completed, step b) (S120) is performed. b) Step (S120) is a step of placing a bottom cushion (200) on the upper surface of the bottom board (100).
The bottom cushion (200) is a component on which the product (1) is secured. Therefore, the bottom cushion (200) is made of a material capable of absorbing external impact. The bottom cushion (200) can be manufactured by plastic foam molding. The bottom cushion (200) can be made of expanded polystyrene.
The bottom cushion (200) forms a three-dimensional shape. The bottom cushion (200) includes a top surface (202; upper surface), a bottom surface (201; lower surface), and a side surface (203; side surface).
The bottom surface (201) is the surface that is placed on the upper surface of the bottom board (100). The bottom surface (201) forms a flat surface. Therefore, the bottom surface (201) is in close contact with the upper surface of the bottom board (100). Therefore, the load of the product (1) supported by the bottom cushion (200) is transferred to the bottom board (100) throughout the entire bottom surface (201).
The bottom cushion (200) includes a mounting surface (204) on which the product (1) is mounted. The mounting surface (204) is lower than the top surface (202) and higher than the bottom surface (201). In addition, when the product (1) is mounted on the mounting surface (204), the bottom surface (201) is lower than the product (1).
That is, the product (1) is separated from the bottom board (100) by the bottom cushion (200). Therefore, the external force (impact) applied to the bottom board (100) is not directly transmitted to the product (1), but is dissipated in the bottom cushion (200) and then transmitted to the product (1).
A position fixing protrusion (p) is formed at the bottom of the bottom cushion (200), and a position fixing hole (h) is formed in the bottom board (100). b) In step (S120), the position fixing protrusion (p) is inserted into the position fixing hole (h). The position fixing protrusion (p) and the position fixing hole (h) form corresponding shapes.
Bottom cushions (200) are provided in multiple numbers and are placed at each corner of the bottom board (100). The bottom board (100) is made of a board in the shape of a square flat plate.
Accordingly, four bottom cushions (200) are provided and are placed at each of the four corners of the bottom board (100). That is, the bottom cushions (200) include a first bottom cushion (210), a second bottom cushion (220), a third bottom cushion (230), and a fourth bottom cushion (240).
The first bottom cushion (210) refers to a bottom cushion (200) on which the first corner portion (1a) of the product (1) is secured and a first position fixing protrusion (p1) is formed at the bottom. The second bottom cushion (220) refers to a bottom cushion (200) on which the second corner portion (1b) of the product (1) is secured and a second position fixing protrusion (p2) is formed at the bottom.
The third bottom cushion (230) refers to a bottom cushion (200) on which the third corner portion (1c) of the product (1) is secured and a third position fixing protrusion is formed at the bottom. The fourth bottom cushion (240) refers to a bottom cushion (200) on which the fourth corner portion (1d) of the product (1) is secured and a fourth position fixing protrusion is formed at the bottom.
제3 위치고정돌기가 제3 위치고정홀(h3)에 삽입되고, 제4 위치고정돌기가 제4 위치고정홀(h4)에 삽입된다. b) In step (S120), the first position fixing protrusion (p1) is inserted into the first position fixing hole (h1), and the second position fixing protrusion (p2) is inserted into the second position fixing hole (h2). The third position fixing protrusion is inserted into the third position fixing hole (h3), and the fourth position fixing protrusion is inserted into the fourth position fixing hole (h4).
b) 단계(S120)에서, 제1 위치고정홀(h1), 제1 위치고정홀(h1), 제1 위치고정홀(h1) 및 제1 위치고정홀(h1)의 x축 방향 간격과 y축 방향 간격에 의해, 제1 바텀쿠션(210), 제2 바텀쿠션(220), 제3 바텀쿠션(230) 및 제4 바텀쿠션(240)의 안착면(204)들의 x축 방향 간격(lx)과 y축 방향 간격(ly)이 고정된다(도 5 참조). b) In step (S120), the x-axis distance (lx) and the y-axis distance (ly) of the mounting surfaces (204) of the first bottom cushion (210), the second bottom cushion (220), the third bottom cushion (230), and the fourth bottom cushion (240) are fixed by the x-axis distance and the y-axis distance of the first position fixing hole (h1), the first position fixing hole (h1), the first position fixing hole (h1) (see FIG. 5).
The position fixing protrusion (p) and the position fixing hole (h) form a shape other than a circle. Therefore, in step b) (S120), the bottom cushion (200) secured to the upper surface of the bottom board (100) is prevented from moving and rotating. Therefore, after step b) (S120), even if an external force (impact) is transmitted to the bottom cushion (200), the relative movement of the bottom board (100) and the bottom cushion (200) is prevented.
The side surface (203) is a side surface provided between the bottom surface (201) and the top surface (202), and is adjacent to the edge of the bottom board (100) (see FIGS. 4 and 5).
Accordingly, the worker can visually check whether the first position fixing protrusion (p1) is inserted into the first position fixing hole (h1) and whether the second position fixing protrusion (p2) is inserted into the second position fixing hole (h2) through the gap between the side surface (203) and the edge of the bottom board (100).

The top cushion (300) is a component interposed between the top board (400) and the product (1). Therefore, the top cushion (300) is made of a material capable of absorbing external impact. The top cushion (300) can be manufactured by plastic foam molding. The top cushion (300) can be made of expanded polystyrene.
The top cushion (300) forms a three-dimensional shape. The upper surface of the top cushion (300) forms a wide, flat surface. The lower surface of the top cushion (300) is in close contact with the upper part of the product (1). In this state, a portion of the top cushion (300) is interposed between the bottom cushion (200).
Therefore, the external force (impact) applied to the bottom board (100) or top board (400) is not directly transmitted to the product (1), but is dissipated in the bottom cushion (200) and top cushion (300) and then transmitted to the product (1).
Fig. 9 is a perspective view showing step e) (S150) of a product packaging method (S100) using a packaging material according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Fig. 10 is a cross-sectional side view showing step e) (S150) of a product packaging method (S100) using a packaging material according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Figure 11 is an enlarged view of part A of Figure 10.
d) 단계(S140)가 완료되면, e) 단계(S150)가 수행된다. e) 단계(S150)는, 바텀쿠션(200)의 상부에 평판 형태의 탑보드(400)를 안착하는 단계이다. d) When step (S140) is completed, step e) (S150) is performed. Step e) (S150) is a step of placing a flat top board (400) on top of the bottom cushion (200).
The top board (400) is made of a rectangular flat board. The top board (400) may be made of paper board such as corrugated cardboard. Alternatively, the top board (400) may be made of a plastic board. The bottom board (100) and the top board (400) may be used in common.
As described above, the bottom cushion (200) includes a top surface (202; upper surface). The top surface (202) is a surface higher than the upper surface of the top cushion (300). Therefore, in step e) (S150), the top board (400) is placed on the top surface (202). At this time, the product (1) is separated from the top board (400) by the bottom cushion (200) and the top cushion (300).
The top surface (202) is a surface on which a flat top board (400) is mounted, and forms a flat surface. Accordingly, the bottom surface of the top board (400) is in close contact with the top surface (202).
Accordingly, the load applied to the top board (400) at the corner portion of the top board (400) is transmitted to the bottom cushion (200) through the top surface (202). At this time, the upper surface of the top cushion (300) is maintained in a state separated from the lower surface of the top board (400) (see Fig. 14).
A plurality of bottom cushions (200) are arranged at each corner of the top board (400). Position fixing protrusions (p) are formed on the upper portions of each of the bottom cushions (200) and the top cushion (300), and position fixing holes (h) are formed in the top board (400).
위치고정돌기(p)와 위치고정홀(h)은 서로 대응되는 형태를 형성한다. e) In step (S150), the position fixing protrusions (p) of the bottom cushion (200) and the top cushion (300) are each inserted into the position fixing holes (h). The position fixing protrusions (p) and the position fixing holes (h) form shapes that correspond to each other.
The position fixing protrusion (p) and the position fixing hole (h) form a shape other than a circle. Therefore, in step e) (S150), the top board (400) secured to the top surface (202) is prevented from moving and rotating. Therefore, after step e) (S150), even if an external force (impact) is transmitted to the top board (400), the relative movement of the bottom cushion (200) and the top board (400) is prevented.
Fig. 12 is a cross-sectional side view showing step f) (S160) of a product packaging method (S100) using a packaging material according to an embodiment of the present invention.
e) 단계(S150)가 완료되면, f) 단계(S160)가 수행된다. f) 단계(S160)는, 바텀보드(100), 바텀쿠션(200) 및 탑보드(400)를 랩핑부재(500)로 감싸는 단계이다. e) When step (S150) is completed, step f) (S160) is performed. Step f) (S160) is a step of wrapping the bottom board (100), bottom cushion (200), and top board (400) with a wrapping member (500).
The wrapping member (500) may be made of vinyl (film) made of PE, POF, PVC, or PP. And step f) (S160) may be performed in a heat shrink packaging machine, etc. A heat shrink packaging machine is a device that heat shrinks and packages vinyl (film) made of PE, POF, PVC, or PP, and is a widely known technology in the packaging industry, so a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
As described above, the side surface (203) is a side surface provided between the bottom surface (201) and the top surface (202), and is adjacent to the edge of the bottom board (100). The side surface (203) can form a vertical surface. f) In step (S160), the wrapping member (500) is heat-shrinked to wrap the side surface (203).
Figure 13 is an enlarged view of part B of Figure 10.
Figure 14 is an enlarged view of part D of Figure 12.
The bottom cushion (200) includes an upper corner surface (205). The upper corner surface (205) is a surface connecting the top surface (202) and the side surface (203), and forms a surface that is lower than the top surface (202) and higher than the side surface (203).
The upper corner surface (205) can form a constant slope between the top surface (202) and the side surface (203). Alternatively, the upper corner surface (205) can form a curved surface connecting the top surface (202) and the side surface (203).
The top board (400) includes a settling area (401). The settling area (401) refers to an area that is settling on the top surface (202). That is, the settling area (401) refers to an area above the top surface (202).
And the top board (400) includes an edge region (402). The edge region (402) is a region that extends outward from the seating region (401), and means an area approximately above the upper corner surface (205).
그리고 f) 단계(S160)에서, 탑보드(400)는 랩핑부재(500)의 열수축에 의해 안착영역(401)과 가장자리영역(402) 사이가 절곡되며, 가장자리영역(402)이 상코너면(205)에 밀착된다. f) In step (S160), the mounting area (401) of the top board (400) is pressed against the top surface (202) by the wrapping member (500). And in step (S160), the top board (400) is bent between the mounting area (401) and the edge area (402) by heat shrinkage of the wrapping member (500), and the edge area (402) is pressed against the upper corner surface (205).
Accordingly, even if an external force (impact) is transmitted to the bottom board (100), top board (400), and bottom cushion (200), relative movement of the bottom board (100), top board (400), and bottom cushion (200) is prevented. Accordingly, the product (1) is firmly protected from impact and foreign substances during storage and transportation.
A bending region (403) may be provided between the settling region (401) and the edge region (402). The bending region (403) refers to a region having a thinner thickness than the settling region (401) and the edge region (402).
The bending area (403) can be formed by cutting a sheath between the seating area (401) and the edge area (402) with a knife. Alternatively, the bending area (403) can be formed by pressing or folding between the seating area (401) and the edge area (402).
Therefore, in step f) (S160), the bending area (403) is easily and quickly folded by heat shrinkage of the wrapping member (500), and accordingly, the edge area (402) is accurately and firmly adhered to the upper corner surface (205).
Figure 15 is an enlarged view of part C of Figure 10.
The bottom cushion (200) includes a lower corner surface (206). The lower corner surface (206) is a surface connecting the bottom surface (201) and the side surface (203), and forms a surface that is higher than the bottom surface (201) and lower than the side surface (203).
The lower corner surface (206) can form a constant slope between the bottom surface (201) and the side surface (203). Alternatively, the lower corner surface (206) can form a curved surface connecting the bottom surface (201) and the side surface (203).
The bottom board (100) includes a seating area (101). The seating area (101) refers to an area where the bottom surface (201) is seated. In other words, the seating area (101) refers to an area below the bottom surface (201).
And the bottom board (100) includes an edge region (102). The edge region (102) is a region that extends outward from the seating region (101), and roughly means the region below the lower corner surface (206).
그리고 f) 단계(S160)에서, 바텀보드(100)는 랩핑부재(500)의 열수축에 의해 안착영역(101)과 가장자리영역(102) 사이가 절곡되며, 가장자리영역(102)이 하코너면(206)에 밀착된다. f) In step (S160), the mounting area (101) of the bottom board (100) is pressed against the bottom surface (201) by the wrapping member (500). And in step (S160), the bottom board (100) is bent between the mounting area (101) and the edge area (102) by heat shrinkage of the wrapping member (500), and the edge area (102) is pressed against the lower corner surface (206).
Accordingly, even if an external force (impact) is transmitted to the bottom board (100), the bottom board (100), and the bottom cushion (200), relative movement of the bottom board (100), the bottom board (100), and the bottom cushion (200) is prevented. Accordingly, the product (1) is firmly protected from impact and foreign substances during storage and transportation.
A bending region (103) may be provided between the settling region (101) and the edge region (102). The bending region (103) refers to a region having a thinner thickness than the settling region (101) and the edge region (102).
Therefore, in step f) (S160), the bending area (103) is easily and quickly bent by heat shrinkage of the wrapping member (500), and the edge area (102) is accurately and firmly adhered to the lower corner surface (206).
f) 단계(S160)가 완료되면, 제품(1)은 바텀쿠션(200) 및 탑쿠션(300)에 의해 바텀보드(100), 탑보드(400) 및 랩핑부재(500)와 이격된 상태를 유지한다. f) When step (S160) is completed, the product (1) is kept separated from the bottom board (100), top board (400), and wrapping member (500) by the bottom cushion (200) and top cushion (300).
Therefore, the external force (impact) applied to the bottom board (100), top board (400), bottom cushion (200), and top cushion (300) is not directly transmitted to the product (1), but is dissipated in the bottom cushion (200) and top cushion (300) and then transmitted to the product (1).
Fig. 16 is a drawing showing a state in which packaging material (10) is stacked after packaging is completed by a product packaging method (S100) using packaging material according to an embodiment of the present invention.
When stacking the packaging material (10) that has been completed by the product packaging method (S100) using the packaging material according to an embodiment of the present invention, the bottom cushions (200) fully support the load (F), thereby maintaining a sturdy stacked state. In addition, the external force (force) applied to the product (1) during transportation, loading, and storage is eliminated. Therefore, occurrence of abnormalities in the product (1) during transportation, loading, and storage is prevented.
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a packaging material (10) and a product packaging method (S100) using the same, which enable a product (1) to be quickly and accurately packaged using a bottom board (100), a bottom cushion (200), a top cushion (300), a top board (400), and a wrapping material (500).
In addition, a packaging material (10) and a product packaging method (S100) using the same can be provided, in which the product (1) is separated from the bottom board (100), the top board (400), and the wrapping material (500) by the bottom cushion (200) and the top cushion (300), thereby firmly protecting the product (1) from impact and foreign substances during storage and transportation.
In addition, a packaging material (10) and a product packaging method (S100) using the same can be provided, in which the bottom board (100) and the top board (400) are formed in a flat shape, and the wrapping material (500) wraps and packages the bottom board (100), the bottom cushion (200), and the top board (400), thereby minimizing the packaging material (10) discarded after transporting the product (1), thereby reducing material costs, and reducing losses in the transport, loading, storage, and occurrence of defects in the parts, thereby reducing management costs.
In addition, by sequentially placing (stacking) a flat board, cushion, and product (1) and wrapping the bottom board (100), bottom cushion (200), and top board (400) with a wrapping material (500), the packaging process is simplified, thereby reducing the packaging assembly man-hours and providing a packaging material (10) and a product packaging method (S100) using the same that are advantageous for application to assembly automation equipment such as robots.
