Abstract
An NFC antenna using a coupling antenna located in a camera module is disclosed. An NFC antenna according to an embodiment may include an NFC feed antenna connected to an NFC chip and radiating an NFC signal of the NFC chip and a coupling antenna coupled with the feed antenna to generate the NFC signal .
Description
The following embodiments relate to an NFC antenna using a coupling antenna located in a camera module.
Conventionally, an NFC (Near Field Communication) antenna is applied to a central portion of a back surface of a portable terminal, such as a battery attached to a battery at the center or lower center of a smart phone, or attached to a rear case.
In addition, since it is required to maintain a size larger than a certain size in order to satisfy the performance of the NFC authentication standard, it causes a rise in price, and due to a large antenna size, it is adjacent to another antenna and affects other antenna performance.
Embodiments can provide a technique of extending the radiation region of an NFC signal output from an NFC chip using a coupling antenna coupled with an NFC feed antenna.
Embodiments can reduce the size of an NFC feed antenna and thus provide a technique for saving an antenna manufacturing cost.
In addition, the embodiments can provide a technique of positioning the coupling antenna in the camera module so as not to affect the existing antenna due to the newly added coupling antenna.
An NFC antenna according to an embodiment may include an NFC feed antenna connected to an NFC chip and radiating an NFC signal of the NFC chip and a coupling antenna coupled with the feed antenna to generate the NFC signal .
The coupling antenna may be located in the camera module.
The coupling antenna may be positioned around the NFC feed antenna so that the coupling antenna and the NFC antenna are close to each other.
The NFC feed antenna may include an antenna pattern and a magnetic sheet.
The coupling antenna may include an antenna pattern and a lower end located at an end of the antenna pattern and including at least one passive element.
