Description
도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 엔진룸의 냉각 해수를 통한 LNG 기화 시스템을 개략적으로 도시한다.

Claims (6)
- LNG를 연료로 사용하는 선박의 메인엔진에 공급되는 LNG의 기화 시스템에 있어서,
LNG를 공급받아 기화시키는 고압 기화기; 및
엔진룸에서 배출되는 가열된 냉각 해수를 상기 고압 기화기로 공급하는 해수 공급 유로를 포함하되,
상기 냉각 해수는 상기 고압 기화기에 공급되어 열 매체로 순환되며 상기 LNG를 기화시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진룸의 냉각 해수를 통한 LNG 기화 시스템. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 가열 해수 공급 유로에 마련되며 상기 냉각 해수를 상기 고압 기화기로 펌핑하는 부스터 펌프; 및
상기 냉각 해수를 상기 고압 기화기로부터 배출시키는 해수 배출 유로를 더 포함하는 엔진룸의 냉각 해수를 통한 LNG 기화 시스템. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 고압 기화기로 LNG를 공급하는 LNG 공급 배관;
상기 LNG 공급 배관에 마련되는 고압 펌프를 더 포함하는 엔진룸의 냉각 해수를 통한 LNG 기화 시스템. - 제 3항에 있어서,
상기 LNG 공급 배관에서 상기 고압 펌프 전단에 마련되는 석션 드럼(Suction drum)을 더 포함하는 엔진룸의 냉각 해수를 통한 LNG 기화 시스템. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 메인엔진은 ME-GI 엔진인 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진룸의 냉각 해수를 통한 LNG 기화 시스템. - LNG를 연료로 사용하는 선박의 메인엔진에 공급되는 LNG의 기화 방법에 있어서,
엔진룸에서 배출되는 가열된 냉각 해수를 고압 기화기로 공급하고, 상기 냉각 해수를 열 매체로 상기 LNG를 기화시켜 상기 메인엔진에 연료로 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진룸의 냉각 해수를 통한 LNG 기화 방법.
