An air conditioner includes a blowing case(20), a indoor blow pan(18), a fan receiving space(21), a discharging guide space(22), and an air diffusion member. The blowing case is around the indoor blow fan. The pan receiving space is box-type, has an open front plane, and receives the indoor blow fan. The discharging guide space guides discharged air to an indoor outlet. The air diffusion member guides the discharged air to be diffused to entire area of the indoor outlet. The air diffusion member is made of a plurality of air diffusion plates(23) fixed at a position spaced apart from each other inside of the discharging guide space.
