The present invention relates to multifunctional furniture which is easy to store and carry, and which can be transformed into a bed, table, bed, chair, etc. through selective transformation by unfolding or folding, thereby improving the quality of use.

In general, as living standards improve, leisure culture is developing, and in particular, camping culture, which involves moving to vacation spots or travel destinations by car and engaging in outdoor leisure activities, is on the rise.

Accordingly, the use of various types of furniture suitable for outdoor activities is increasing significantly.

For example, various functional furniture such as outdoor dining tables, outdoor chairs, and outdoor tables are being proposed that can be folded to reduce the space occupied during storage and portability.

Typically, the outdoor table is configured to be easy to carry and use by unfolding or folding the connecting links, with the chair and table top each connected by a connecting link, and portable tables with the table top separated from the chair or the chair and table top formed as one piece are widely used for various purposes, such as not only for displaying items outdoors, but also as a dining table, cooking table, reading table, or work table.

However, multifunctional furniture such as the above had the problem of low usability as it could only be converted into a table or chair of a selected size.

That is, there was a problem that its functionality was limited because it could only be used with tables and chairs of a selected size and shape.

The present invention has been proposed to solve the above-mentioned problems of the related art, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide multifunctional furniture that is not only easy to store and carry, but can be transformed into a bed, table, bed, chair, etc. through selective transformation by unfolding or folding, thereby improving the quality of use, and in particular, can selectively implement transformation into various sizes and shapes for outdoor activities such as camping, so that various functions can be selectively performed.

In order to achieve the above-described purpose of the present invention, the multifunctional furniture according to the present invention comprises: a table means having a table top, a table frame on which the table top is supported, and table legs that are foldable and provided on the table frame to support it against the floor; a backrest frame that is foldable and connected to an upper edge portion of the table frame, a backrest top plate that is pivotally connected to the backrest frame to be rotatable about an edge portion in the direction of the table means, and a backrest means having backrest legs that are foldable and provided on the backrest frame to support it against the floor.

The above backrest top plate is characterized in that it is rotatably coupled on the backrest frame to form a horizontal inclination angle.

The multifunctional furniture according to the present invention, which is constructed in this manner, has the effect of reducing the space occupied when storing and carrying by folding each table frame and backrest frame around the upper corners where each table means and backrest means are axially connected, thereby allowing each table top and backrest top to come into surface contact with each other.

In addition, when applied as a table, table, etc. in the usage area, each table means and backrest means are axially connected to each other at the upper corners, and each table frame and backrest frame are spread out so that each table top and backrest top are arranged horizontally to each other, so that the upper surfaces of each table top and backrest top can be used as a work space.

In addition, since the backrest top plate rotates on the backrest frame to form a horizontal incline angle, it supports the user's back when the table top is used as a seat, thereby having the effect of being applicable by converting it into a bed, chair, etc.

Hereinafter, with reference to the attached drawings, a multifunctional furniture according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail as follows.

The embodiments of the present invention can be modified in various forms, and the scope of the present invention should not be construed as being limited to the embodiments described in detail below. The present embodiments are provided to more completely explain the present invention to a person having average knowledge in the art. Therefore, the shapes of elements in the drawings may be exaggerated to emphasize a clearer explanation. FIGS. 1 to 12 are drawings showing a multifunctional furniture (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention. The multifunctional furniture (1) according to the present embodiment is particularly suitable for being converted into various sizes and shapes for outdoor activities such as camping, making it easy to store and carry, and can be selectively transformed into a bed, table, bed, chair, etc. by unfolding or folding it, thereby selectively performing various functions.

The multifunctional furniture (1) according to this embodiment comprises: a table means (2) having a table top, a table frame (22) on which the table top (21) is supported, and table legs (23) that are foldable and provided on the table frame (22) to support it against the floor; a backrest frame (32) that is foldable and connected to an upper edge portion of the table frame (22), a backrest top plate (31) that is pivotally connected to the backrest frame (32) to be rotatable about an edge portion toward the table means (2), and a backrest means (3) that has backrest legs (33) that are foldable and provided on the backrest frame (32) to support it against the floor.

That is, each of the table frame (22) and the backrest frame (32) is folded around the upper corners where each of the table means (2) and the backrest means (3) are axially connected, so that each of the table top plate (21) and the backrest top plate (31) comes into surface contact with each other, thereby reducing the space occupied.

And when applied as a table, table, etc. in the place of use (outdoor), each of the table means (2) and the backrest means (3) are axially connected to each other, and the table frame (22) and the backrest frame (32) are unfolded with each of the table tops (21) and the backrest tops (31) arranged horizontally to each other, so that the upper surfaces of each of the table tops (21) and the backrest tops (31) are used as work spaces.

In the above, the table frame (22) and the backrest frame (32) are each provided with main locking elements (41) that are aligned with each other and lock and release their respective fastening states.

That is, the connection state of the table means (2) and the backrest means (3) is selectively unlocked through the locking and unlocking operation of the main locking elements (41) selected by the user.

Accordingly, the connection between the table means (2) and the backrest means (3) is not released without permission, thereby ensuring structural stability during storage and carrying.

The table frame (22) or the backrest frame (32) above may be provided with a handle (5) that can be held by the user's hand.

That is, the table means (2) and the backrest means (3) can be easily held by the user and carried and transported by hand in a folded state through the handle (5), so that usability can be improved.

The configuration and structure of the above-mentioned main locking elements (41) can be formed by the combined configuration and structure of a 'ring element' and a 'hook element'; it is preferable that the configuration and structure of the above-mentioned main locking elements (41) be suitably applied by a configuration and structure selected by a user from among conventionally known technologies.

In the above, the table leg (23) is provided in a foldable manner on the inner lower part of the table frame (22), but a 'catching element' (42) that prevents the folded and unfolded states from being released without permission can be applied; it is preferable that the folding configuration and folding structure of the table leg (23) with respect to the table frame (22) be suitably applied with a configuration and structure selected by the user from among conventionally known technologies.

In the multifunctional furniture (1) according to the present embodiment formed in this manner, the backrest top plate (31) is rotatably coupled on the backrest frame (32) to form a horizontal inclination angle.

That is, according to the user's choice, the backrest top plate (31) rotates on the backrest frame (32) to form a horizontal inclination angle, thereby supporting the user's back when the table top plate (21) is used as a seat.

Accordingly, it can be applied by converting it into a bed, chair, etc.

Between the lower surface of the backrest top plate (31) and the backrest frame (32), a support means (6) may be provided to support and prop up the backrest top plate (31).

That is, the state in which the backrest top plate (3) is placed at the selected inclination angle through the support means (6) is maintained stably without being released without permission, thereby realizing structural stability when used as a chair or bed.

In the above, the support means (6) may include a latch link (61) in which a frame fixing member (321) provided on the backrest frame (32) is rotatably coupled on one side, a backrest fixing member (311) provided on the backrest upper plate (31) is rotatably coupled on the other side, and a plurality of latch gears are arranged in the longitudinal direction; a support link (62) in which a movable member on one side is rotatably coupled at a position having a gap from the backrest fixing member (311) on the backrest upper plate (31) and a catching member (63) is provided on the driven member on the other side so as to be elastically engaged with the latch gears and guided in the longitudinal direction of the latch link (61).

That is, when the backrest upper plate (31) rotates about the axis with respect to the backrest frame (32), the engaging member (63) is guided on the latch link (61), and the support link (62) can rotate about the axis at an angle with respect to the latch link (61).

Accordingly, the support link (62) supports the backrest top plate (31); at this time, the support link (62) can be supported while having its inclination angle adjusted according to the inclination angle of the backrest top plate (31).

As for the configuration and structure of the support means (6) above, it is preferable that a configuration and structure selected by the user from among conventionally known technologies be suitably applied.

In the multifunctional furniture (1) according to the present embodiment as described above, the table top (21) may be formed of a plurality of fixed panels (211) that are each fixedly mounted to the table frame (22) while having a length and having a spacing between them; and a plurality of variable panels (212) that are provided to be capable of linearly moving in the longitudinal direction at the respective spacings of the fixed panels (211).

That is, the variable panels (212) on the table frame (22) can be formed by moving linearly in the longitudinal direction of the fixed panels (211) so that the overall length of the table top (21) can be adjusted according to the user's choice.

Accordingly, the usability of the table top (21) can be improved.

The respective ends of the variable panels (212) above are fixed through the connecting side plate frame (24), so that the user can hold the connecting side plate frame (24) by hand and move it arbitrarily, thereby causing a plurality of the variable panels (212) to move linearly at the same time.

In the above, the connecting side frame (24) and the table frame (21) are each provided with auxiliary locking elements (43) that are aligned with each other and lock and release their respective fastening states.

That is, the connection state of the connecting side frame (24) and the table frame (22) is selectively unlocked through the locking and unlocking operation of the auxiliary locking elements (43) selected by the user.

Accordingly, the connection state of the connecting side frame (24) and the table frame (22) is not released without permission, thereby ensuring structural stability during storage and carrying.

In the above, the connecting side plate frame (24) may be provided with auxiliary legs (25) that are foldable and supported against the floor.

That is, when the user holds the connecting side frame (24) by hand and moves it arbitrarily so that a plurality of variable panels (212) are spread outwardly from the table frame (21), the auxiliary legs (25) support the ends of the variable panels (212) against the floor, thereby ensuring structural stability.

In the above, the auxiliary legs (25) are provided in a foldable manner on the inner lower end of the connecting side plate frame (24), but a 'catching element' (42) that prevents the folded and unfolded states from being released without permission can be applied; it is preferable that the folding configuration and folding structure of the auxiliary legs with respect to the connecting side plate frame (24) be suitably applied with a folding configuration and folding structure selected by the user from among conventionally known technologies.

Meanwhile, the multifunctional furniture (1) according to the present embodiment may further include an upper pad (7) laminated on the upper part of the table top (21) and the backrest top plate (31).

That is, when the table means (2) and the backrest means (3) are unfolded, the upper pad (7) is laminated on the upper portion of the table top (21) and the backrest top plate (31) to remove irregular surfaces, thereby allowing the user to lie down or sit comfortably.

Accordingly, convenience of use can be improved.

The upper pad (7) above may be made of an elastic pad made of textile fabric or synthetic resin material; its configuration and structure may be suitably applied by a configuration and structure selected by a user from among conventionally known technologies.

As described above, the multifunctional furniture (1) according to the present embodiment is characterized by a technical configuration in that the table means (2) and the backrest means (3) are axially coupled so that each of the table frame (22) and the backrest frame (32) can be folded or unfolded so that each of the table top plate (21) and the backrest top plate (31) can be folded so as to come into surface contact with each other or unfolded so as to be horizontally connected to each other.

The above-described embodiment of the present invention is merely exemplary, and those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that various modifications and equivalent other embodiments are possible therefrom. Therefore, it will be readily understood that the present invention is not limited to the forms mentioned in the detailed description above. Accordingly, the true technical protection scope of the present invention should be determined by the technical idea of the appended utility model claims. In addition, the present invention should be understood to include all modifications, equivalents, and substitutes within the spirit of the present invention defined by the appended claims and the scope thereof.
