Description
Claims (10)
- 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자(202)와,디스플레이 기간 동안 상기 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자에 의해 디스플레이될 컬러 강도 값의 다수의 비트를 저장하는 다중 비트 저장 소자(204)를 포함하되, 각각의 비트는 상기 디스플레이 기간 동안 상기 다중 비트 저장 소자로부터 상기 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자로 한번 이상 로딩되어 상기 컬러 강도 값을 달성하는광학 디스플레이 소자(200).
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 다중 비트 저장 소자는 상기 컬러 강도 값의 비트 수와 동일한 다수의 비트 저장 셀을 포함하는 광학 디스플레이 소자.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 다중 비트 저장 소자는 상기 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자에 접속된 미러 저장 셀을 더 포함하는 광학 디스플레이 소자.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 다수의 비트 저장 셀은 원형으로 상호연결되는 광학 디스플레이 소자.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 다중 비트 저장 소자는, 상기 컬러 강도 값의 상기 다수의 비트 중 다음 비트를 상기 다중 비트 저장 소자에 로딩하도록 어서트(assert)되는 로드 라인과 상기 다수의 비트 저장 셀 사이에서 상기 다수의 비트를 회전시키도록 어서트되는 회전 라인을 구비한 제어 셀을 더 포함하는 광학 디스플레이소자.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 다수의 비트 저장 셀 중 상기 이진 광학 디스플레 소자에 가장 인접한 비트 저장 셀은 상기 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자로 다음에 로딩될 상기 컬러 강도 값의 상기 다수의 비트들 중 일 비트를 저장하여, 상기 다수의 비트는 상기 다수의 비트 저장 셀 사이에서 상기 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자로 다음에 로딩될 상기 비트를 선택하는 광학 디스플레이 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 컬러 강도 값의 상기 다수의 비트 중 일 비트는 상기 디스플레이 기간의 각 간격 동안 상기 다중 비트 저장 소자에서 상기 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자로 로딩되는 광학 디스플레이 소자.
- 다수의 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자(202)와,디스플레이 기간 동안 다수의 비트를 다중 비트 저장 소자로 한번 이상 로딩하지 않으면서 상기 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자에 의해 디스플레이될 이미지 픽셀의 컬러 강도 값의 상기 다수의 비트를 저장하는, 상기 각 이진 광학 디스플레 소자마다의 다중 비트 저장 소자(204)를 포함하는 디스플레이 장치(900).
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 다수의 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자는 디스플레이되는 다수의 이미지 픽셀에 대응함으로써, 각 다중 비트 저장 소자는 상기 다수의 이미지 픽셀 중 하나의 컬러 강도 값의 상기 비트 수를 저장하는 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 다수의 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자에 의해 디스플레이될 다수의 컬러 이미지 픽셀 각각은, 상기 컬러 이미지 픽셀의 다수의 컬러 구성요소 각각을 디스플레이하는 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자를 포함하는 다수의 상기 다수의 이진 광학 디스플레이 소자에 대응하여, 각 다중 비트 저장 소자는 상기 다수의 컬러 이미지 픽셀 중 하나의 컬러 구성요소의 컬러 강도 값의 상기 다수의 비트를 저장하는 디스플레이 장치.
