Abstract
Description
Claims (12)
- 카메라에 의해 촬영된 입력영상의 압축 데이터 생성을 위한 매크로블록의 움직임 벡터값을 이용하여 상기 입력영상의 움직임영역과 정지영역을 결정하는 단계;상기 움직임영역으로부터 이동물체의 중심값 및 크기 정보를 추정하는 단계; 및상기 중심값 및 상기 크기정보를 통해 상기 이동물체를 추적하며 촬영하도록 상기 카메라를 제어하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상압축정보를 이용한 카메라 제어방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 입력영상의 움직임영역과 정지영역을 결정하는 단계는,상기 메크로블록의 이동거리를 계산하는 단계; 및상기 메크로블록의 계산된 이동거리와 임계값의 비교결과에 따라 상기 움직임영역과 상기 정지영역을 판단하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상압축정보를 이용한 카메라 제어방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 이동거리는, 다음 수학식:에 의해 산출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상압축정보를 이용한 카메라 제어방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 이동거리는, 다음 수학식:에 의해 산출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상압축정보를 이용한 카메라 제어방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 이동물체의 크기는 상기 움직임영역의 외곽을 에워싸는 사각형의 면적으로 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상압축정보를 이용한 카메라 제어방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 사각형 영역을 상기 이동물체의 이동을 추적하기 위한 추적창으로 설정하고, 상기 사각형 내의 이전 프레임을 토대로 상기 이동물체의 이동지점을 예측하여 상기 추적창을 이동시키는 단계;를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상압축정보를 이용한 카메라 제어방법.
- 제 6항에 있어서,상기 카메라 제어 단계에서는, 상기 추적창의 중심값이 상기 입력영상 전체영역 내의 설정범위 이외에 존재하면, 상기 추적창의 이동예측정보를 토대로 상기카메라의 촬영방향이 전환되도록 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상압축정보를 이용한 카메라 제어방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 카메라 제어단계에서는, 상기 이동물체의 중심값 정보를 통해 상기 카메라의 팬/틸트를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상압축정보를 이용한 카메라 제어방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 카메라의 팬/틸트 제어는, 상기 이동물체의 중심값이 상기 입력영상 전체영역의 설정 영역 이외에 위치하는 경우에 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상압축정보를 이용한 카메라 제어방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 카메라 제어단계에서는, 상기 이동물체의 크기정보를 통해 상기 카메라의 줌 인/아웃을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상압축정보를 이용한 카메라 제어방법.
- 제 10항에 있어서,상기 카메라의 줌 인/아웃 제어는, 상기 이동물체가 상기 입력영상 전체영역의 설정된 영역 내에 존재하는 경우에 줌인을 수행하고, 상기 설정 영역 외에 위치하는 경우에 줌 아웃이 수행되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상압축정보를 이용한 카메라 제어방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 카메라의 제어와 상기 이동물체의 중심값 및 상기 크기정보의 추정은 상호 시분할적으로 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상압축정보를 이용한 카메라 제어방법.
