Abstract

PURPOSE: A two-speed control cylinder is provided to make the best use of installation space by simplifying the structure without installing an additional two-speed control valve, and to cut down manufacturing cost by producing the cylinder easily. CONSTITUTION: A piston is combined with a piston rod(10), and reciprocated in a cylinder(1). An intake port(4) and a discharge port(5) are formed at both sides of the cylinder. The piston is divided into a large diameter part(2) and a small diameter part(3) to form the two-stage piston. The small diameter part is inserted to a constant speed range(7), and the constant speed range is formed in the discharge port. Passages(9,9') are formed in upper and lower parts of the constant speed range, and connected to the discharge port. An adjusting screw(6) is installed in the upper passage, and a check valve(8) is mounted in the lower passage. The installation space is used optimally with simple structure of the two-speed control cylinder.
