Description
The present invention relates to a method for producing a polyester-based composite fiber, and more specifically, two kinds of polyesters having different intrinsic viscosities are spun to have a side by side cross-sectional shape in the fiber length direction. It relates to a method for producing a polyester composite fiber to exhibit spontaneous high crimp characteristics in the relaxation heat treatment process.
Conventionally, several methods are known as a method for producing side by side type composite fibers, and representative examples thereof include polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and copolymers thereof using side by side type composite spinning method. It is a method of manufacturing. However, such a manufacturing method has a disadvantage in that physical properties of the copolymer are generally lowered, spinning processability is poor, and physical properties such as crimping property of the composite fiber are lowered.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a polyester-based composite fiber of the side-by-side type without any disadvantages as described above.
In the study of the present inventors for solving the above problems, polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT), which has excellent fiber formability, excellent elasticity, and has different shrinkage characteristics from polyethylene terephthalate, is a composite of polyethylene terephthalate and side-by-side type. When manufacturing the composite fiber using the spinning method was found that the spinning processability is excellent and the composite fiber exhibits a high crimping characteristics, the result is to complete the present invention.
Therefore, according to the present invention, a spontaneous highly-elastic polyester-based composite fiber comprising spinning a polyethylene terephthalate as a first component and a polytrimethylene terephthalate as a second component using a side by side type composite spinning method A manufacturing method is provided.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with preferred embodiments.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, polyethylene terephthalate is preferably used having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.55 to 0.65, and polytrimethylene terephthalate is used by the intrinsic viscosity of 0.7 to 1 side by side in the longitudinal direction of the fiber It is important to produce a composite spun fiber having a cross-section, in which the difference in melt viscosity between the two polymers during spinning is less than 1500 poise. If the difference in melt viscosity between the two polymers is greater than 1500 poise during spinning, the spinning process will bend directly above the melt viscosity under the spinning nozzle, resulting in poor spinning processability and the degree of crimping of the obtained yarn. It will be disadvantageous. On the other hand, in the case where the intrinsic viscosity of the two polymers used is outside the above range, the spinning process and the stretching process are similarly poor.
According to the present invention, in order to make the difference in melt viscosity between the two polymers less than or equal to 1500 poise, the spinning temperature is appropriately controlled within the range of 280 to 300 ° C. The yarn after spinning, for example, is treated in a stretching machine at a stretching temperature of 70 to 110 ° C. and a heat treatment temperature of 160 to 200 ° C., followed by heat treatment in a relaxed state by dry heat or wet heat to produce a highly crimped composite fiber.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail by way of example. However, the present invention is not limited to the following examples. Various physical property evaluation methods used in the following Examples and Comparative Examples are as follows.
◎ 고유점도(IV): 각 폴리머를 120℃의 오르토-클로로 페놀에 1%농도로 충분히 용해시킨 후 30℃ 항온조에서 우벨로드형 점도계를 사용하여 측정.◎ Intrinsic Viscosity (IV): Each polymer was sufficiently dissolved in 120% ortho-chlorophenol at 1% concentration, and then measured using a Ubelrod viscometer in a 30 ° C thermostat.
◎ 용융점도(MV): 측정하고자 하는 폴리머를 진공 건조기를 사용하여 130℃에서 충분히 건조시킨 후 모세관 타입 레오메터(Capillary type Rheometer)를 사용하여 250℃의 온도에서 측정.◎ Melt viscosity (MV): The polymer to be measured is sufficiently dried at 130 ° C. using a vacuum dryer, and then measured at a temperature of 250 ° C. using a capillary type rheometer.
건조후 단섬유를 추출하여 0.1g/d의 초하중을 주고 광학 현미경으로 권축수(K/inch)를 측정.◎ Crimp Number (K / inch): Apply 0.1g / d ultra-low load to the sample, cut 500mm, remove the super-load, and soak for 30 minutes in 100 ℃ of breaking water. After drying, the short fibers were extracted to give an initial load of 0.1 g / d, and the number of crimps was measured with an optical microscope.
