Description

Wet mask for disaster fire}Wet mask for disaster fire

The present invention relates to a wet mask for disaster fires, and more particularly, to a wet mask for disaster fires, which comprises a mask body provided in a wet state, and a frame part formed in a hemispherical shape inside the mask body, wherein a purification part for filtering smoke is installed in the middle of the frame part, and an oxygen generating part for generating oxygen is installed on both sides inside the frame part, so that when a fire breaks out, the user does not directly inhale high-temperature smoke when wearing the wet mask, and can breathe with continuously supplied oxygen, thereby preventing suffocation due to smoke inhalation, and thereby enabling quick evacuation from a fire area.

In general, in the case of disasters that produce large amounts of smoke, such as fires, forest fires, and explosive explosions, the most basic and important evacuation method is to 'cover your nose and mouth with a wet towel or something similar' and move quickly.

In Korea, where high-rise buildings, tunnels, and subways are heavily used, smoke and toxic gases are particularly damaging. In the event of a fire, toxic gases can cause unconsciousness within a minute of inhalation and death within five minutes. Statistics show that asphyxiation from gas and smoke accounts for more than 60% of fire deaths.

Therefore, in an emergency, you need to quickly obtain items such as towels and water to wet the towels. However, it is not easy to immediately obtain the necessary items in an emergency situation, and it is especially difficult to obtain water in places other than home.

In particular, in subway stations or buildings used by the public, such as buildings, schools, and houses, smoke masks for fire escape are mainly used because they have a lower purification ability than gas masks, but are simple in structure and small in volume, making them easy to prepare or carry, and can be quickly put on.

As the name suggests, smoke masks are designed to prevent direct inhalation of toxic gases or smoke produced during a fire. In fire accidents, most fatalities are caused by suffocation from inhaling toxic gases or smoke, rather than the flames themselves.

When a fire breaks out indoors, it starts by igniting interior materials or furniture, and when it reaches the ceiling, it rapidly spreads horizontally, expanding the combustion area and at the same time, the large amount of radiant heat further promotes the thermal decomposition of the remaining combustibles in the room. When the combustible gas and air generated at this time mix within the combustion range, the fire rapidly expands and the entire room is engulfed in flames. This process is called the flashover phenomenon.

The time until this flashover phenomenon occurs is usually only about 5 to 6 minutes, and once a flashover occurs, the fire is not easy to extinguish, so in order to reduce casualties in a fire, the fire scene must be evacuated before the flashover phenomenon occurs.

Because the location of a fire cannot be specified, a fire escape smoke mask must have a simple structure, be small in size, be light in weight, and be inexpensive, so that it can be installed in any place where there is a risk of fire without being restricted by space or cost, and can be quickly and easily put on at the scene when an actual fire breaks out.

Accordingly, wet masks soaked in water are provided.

However, conventional wet masks have a problem where the user cannot breathe properly because the mask repeatedly sticks to the nose and falls off every time the user breathes when wearing the wet mask on the face.

Accordingly, the present invention for solving the above problem has a mask body provided in a wet state, and a frame part formed in a hemispherical shape inside the mask body is combined, and a purification part for filtering smoke is installed in the middle of the frame part, and an oxygen generating part for generating oxygen is installed on both sides inside the frame part, so that when a fire breaks out, the user does not directly inhale high-temperature smoke when wearing the wet mask, and can breathe with continuously supplied oxygen, thereby preventing suffocation due to smoke inhalation, and thereby enabling quick evacuation from the fire area, and provides a wet mask for disaster fire.

The wet mask of the present invention is mainly composed of a mask body (10), a frame part (20), a purification part (30), an oxygen generating part (40), and a packaging material (50).

The mask body (10) can be made of a conventional mask material.

That is, the mask body (10) can be manufactured in a form in which a plurality of filter papers (13) are laminated between the outer skin (11) and the inner skin (12), and the filter paper (13) is a non-woven fabric surface coated with activated carbon. Activated carbon is a porous material made of carbon material and has excellent adsorption properties, so it can effectively absorb gas or moisture.

The outer skin (11) and the inner skin (12) can be made of non-woven material, and the inner skin (12) is placed on the innermost side of the mask and is the part that comes into contact with the skin, so it is made of a soft material to minimize skin irritation.

When manufacturing a mask body (10), the outer skin (11), the inner skin (12), and a plurality of filter papers (13) are laminated and ultrasonically heat-bonded at the outer surface, and the middle part is heat-bonded vertically to form an intermediate joint (14) in the middle of the mask body (10), so that even when the mask body (10) is formed of multiple layers, the mutual bonding strength is improved, and a pair of connecting pieces (15) that are riveted to the upper and lower ends of the intermediate joint (14) are connected so that both sides of the intermediate joint (14) are joined together so that even when wet, the outer skin, the inner skin, and a plurality of filter papers that form the mask body (10) can be maintained in a strongly bonded state.

Drawing symbol 16 indicates an ear loop portion that allows the mask body (10) to be worn by hanging it on the ear.

The frame part (20) supports the mask body (10) to maintain its dome shape, and can be manufactured in a hemispherical shape using synthetic resin material.

In addition, it is desirable that the frame portion (20) be formed so that it can be in close contact with the periphery of the mouth and nose when wearing a wet mask.

The purification unit (30) is installed in the central part of the frame unit (20) and is a unit that filters and purifies smoke when the user breathes.

The purification unit (30) is formed by forming a case (31) in which a flow hole (32) is formed in the front and rear directions in the central portion of the frame unit (20), and stacking a filter layer (33) and an activated carbon layer (34) inside the case (31).

The filter layer (33) can use a fiber filter such as filter paper, and the activated carbon layer (34) can be implemented by filling it with activated carbon particles.

The oxygen generating unit (40) is installed on both sides of the inside of the frame unit (20) to provide the function of generating oxygen.

This oxygen generating unit (40) forms an oxygen housing (41) with porous holes (42) formed on the surface inside the frame unit (20), and an oxygen capsule (43) that generates oxygen by reacting with water or carbon dioxide is built into the inside of the oxygen housing (41).

The oxygen capsule (43) may include a metal oxide, activated carbon, and a catalyst. The metal oxide may be any one of potassium superoxide (KO2), sodium peroxide (Na2O2), calcium oxide, magnesium peroxide, potassium peroxide, and sodium peroxide, and the catalyst may be any one of catalase, peroxidase, potassium iodide, and manganese dioxide.

Meanwhile, since the wet mask of the present invention has a mask body (10) that is wet with water, the oxygen capsule (43) must be isolated from the water under normal circumstances. To this end, a sealing film (51) having one end joined to the inner wall of the packaging (50) is attached to the surface of the oxygen housing (41) so that the porous holes (41) are blocked and the oxygen capsule (43) is isolated from the water. When the wet mask is used, when the wet mask is taken out from the packaging (50), the sealing film (51) is naturally separated from the surface of the oxygen housing (41), opening the porous holes (41) so that the oxygen capsule (43) can react with water or carbon dioxide to generate oxygen.

If configured as above, the sealing film (51) automatically falls off from the surface of the oxygen housing (41) when the wet mask is taken out of the packaging (50), so it is expected to have the effect of making use more convenient.

The packaging (50) accommodates a wet mask and accommodates the mask body (10) in a sealed state while it is wet.

Inside the packaging (50), one end of a sealing film (51) is combined to seal the surface of the oxygen housing (41) described above.

The operating state of the wet mask of the present invention configured in this manner is described as follows.

When a user opens the packaging (50) to use a wet mask in the event of a fire and takes out the mask body (10) from the packaging (50), one end of the sealing film (51) attached to the surface of the oxygen housing (41) is bonded to the packaging (50), so that the sealing film (51) is separated from the surface of the oxygen housing (41), and the porous hole (42) formed on the surface of the oxygen housing (41) is opened, thereby allowing the oxygen capsule (43) filled inside the oxygen housing (41) to come into contact with the outside.

In this state, when the user wears the mask body (10) on the face, as shown in the drawing, not only does the frame part (20) adhere to the area around the mouth and nose, but the edges of the mask body (10), which is wet, also adhere to the skin around the mouth and nose.

At this time, when the user breathes, the outside air passes through the mask body (10) and is supplied to the user through the purification unit (30), allowing the user to breathe normally. In this process, the temperature of the outside air decreases as it passes through the wet mask body (10), and the smoke components harmful to the human body are filtered by the purification unit (30), allowing the user to inhale purified air.

In addition, since the oxygen capsule (43) reacts with water or carbon dioxide to generate oxygen after wearing the wet mask, the user does not have difficulty breathing with the oxygen provided by the oxygen capsule (43).
