Abstract

The present invention is a music and ticket sales and resale system using blockchain-based NFT, wherein the system includes a central server, a seller terminal connected to the central server, and a buyer terminal connected to the central server, the central server includes a music platform, a ticket platform, an NFT server, and a DB, and each music and ticket information of the platform provides a system associated with a unique NFT code of the music and ticket generated by the NFT server.

The present invention relates to a music and ticket sales and resale system using blockchain-based NFT.

Streaming, a popular method of music consumption today, offers consumers the convenience of listening to all the music in the world anytime, anywhere at a low price, and the market is growing day by day. However, many artists are experiencing financial difficulties due to low profit sharing rates for artists and a structure in which top artists account for the majority of market profits due to dependence on large music platforms. In the K-pop market as well, these problems have led to a dependence on CD (physical) sales and concert revenue rather than music revenue. In addition, excessive marketing to increase CD sales, such as random photo cards, has raised environmental concerns due to discarded CDs, and the problems in the current market based on analog physical CDs are increasing, and various actions are needed to solve the situation.

The applicant has applied for and received registration of a service providing method performed on a server of a music platform using blockchain-based NFT, including the steps of receiving sound source information for a sound source to be registered on the platform and issuing a blockchain-based NFT indicating ownership of the sound source, the step of receiving a request for use of a service related to the sound source registered on the platform from at least one service-using terminal connected to a blockchain-based network, and the step of providing a service related to the sound source to at least one service-using terminal based on a blockchain-based NFT issued in advance for the sound source in response to the received request. In addition, the applicant has received a patent in Patent No. 10-2388233 for a process including the step of providing a service related to the sound source to a service-using terminal based on a blockchain-based NFT issued in advance for the sound source, and detecting an illegal download event for the sound source registered on the music platform based on a preset sound source protection algorithm to protect the sound source of the music source platform.

The present invention further improves upon the above patents and relates to a new concept system that can implement the sale and resale of music sources as well as tickets based on NFT.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an online system that uploads media content such as sound sources, issues blockchain-based NFTs, provides an open market for selling sound sources and tickets, and safely guarantees the resale of sound sources and tickets using blockchain-based NFTs.

The present invention can serve as a digital archive of purchased albums or tickets, and when the album and ticket market using NFTs becomes active, it can develop into a community that proves and shares consumption in the entertainment industry to everyone through the blockchain mainnet, and it aims to provide a system that has the potential to develop into services such as SNS or membership.

The present invention provides a system for selling and reselling music and tickets using blockchain-based NFT to achieve the above-described purpose, wherein the system includes a central server, a seller terminal connected to the central server, and a buyer terminal connected to the central server, the central server includes a music platform, a ticket platform, an NFT server, and a DB, and each music and ticket information of the platform provides a system associated with a unique NFT code of the music and ticket generated by the NFT server.

The music platform includes a music creation station, a music sales station, and a music resale station. The music creation station includes a music information registration section, a smart contract section, an album information registration section, and an NFT issuance section. The music information registration section registers information on genre, title, artist, sales date and time, and introduction. The smart contract section registers information on the sales price and commission of the music. The album information registration section uploads (a) voice, video, and audio files included in an album, media, or online file, (b) photo cards or performances or images and videos of the artist accompanying (a), (c) performance live files, and (d) making files for producing the music, so that music purchasers can check actual information about the artist.

When the seller verifies the information generated by the sound source generation station, a confirmation signal is sent to the NFT server, the NFT server generates a unique NFT for the sound source information, and sends the generated NFT code to the sound source generation station, the sound source generation station saves the NFT code, and the saved sound source data is sent to the DB so that the sound source can be generated.

The music sales station includes a music sales display section, a music sales to be sold display section, a music sales display section, a music sales completed and ended display section, and a music sales execution section. The ticket sales station includes a ticket on sale display unit, a ticket to be sold display unit, a ticket sold and closed display unit, and a ticket sales execution unit. The ticket resale station may include a resale ticket creation unit, a ticket on resale display unit, a ticket to be resold display unit, a resale completed and closed display unit, and a ticket resale execution unit.

The resale ticket creation section further includes a performance information registration section, and the performance information registration section includes performance information data in the form of audio or video files, so that the performance can be viewed through the resale of the ticket after the original performance has ended.

The present invention provides an open market online system that allows anyone to upload media content such as sound sources, issue blockchain-based NFTs, and directly trade tickets using NFTs, and provides an online system that can safely guarantee the resale of tickets using blockchain-based NFTs.

The present invention is susceptible to various modifications and embodiments. Specific embodiments are illustrated in the drawings and described in detail in specific details for carrying out the invention. However, this is not intended to limit the present invention to specific embodiments, but rather to encompass all modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the spirit and technical scope of the present invention.

The present invention provides an NFT service, a direct digital music transaction method, as a solution to the problem described in the "Technology underlying the invention" section above. NFT albums are evaluated as the optimal technology for the future direction of the music industry, as they transparently allow creators and producers to generate revenue from music sources due to their unique characteristics of disclosing all transaction details between users and making forgery impossible. Furthermore, a single NFT can provide the functionality of a digital album and DVD, integrating all music industry services, including music, music videos, photo cards, and tickets, and allowing consumers to directly own them.

Through this, it is possible to create a market where the consumption of the cultural industry can be owned and enjoyed, such as by giving a story with audio and video as a making film that contains the entire process from music selection to production for an NFT album, or by providing follow-up videos containing footage before, during, and after a performance to NFT ticket owners, and by preserving the value of digital content so that only the owners can consume it and generate profits through resale. In this way, it is possible to implement a total music service that organically consumes all contents of the entertainment industry, such as music, videos, and tickets, by linking them with music NFTs.

The present invention is characterized by the fact that it adopts the technological advantages of blockchain and NFT as a means of direct transaction only, not for investment purposes, by using cash (card) payment rather than virtual currency in the form of an open market where creators or producers can freely upload and sell.

The present invention is characterized by completing the sales, resale, and purchase of music and tickets based on NFT within the system's ecosystem.

Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating the overall configuration of a music and ticket sales and resale system (1; hereinafter, sometimes abbreviated as “sales system”) using blockchain-based NFT of the present invention. The sales system (1) includes a central server (2) corresponding to a main platform, a seller terminal (3) connected to the central server (2), and a buyer terminal (4) connected to the central server (2). The central server (2) is a typical platform equipped with memory, a processing unit, a program, an I/O interface, and a communication interface. The central server (2) can be implemented as an online site accessible to sellers and buyers. The central server (2) largely includes a music platform (10), a ticket platform (12), an NFT server (20), and a database (30). All of the above platforms are managed, regulated, and authenticated by the NFT server (20). DB (30) records information on generated music sources and tickets, and furthermore, information related to the creation, sale (purchase), and resale of music sources and tickets transmitted from platforms. This information is stored in conjunction with a unique NFT code authenticated by the NFT server (20).

Platforms (10, 12) may be implemented as, for example, main or sub-pages of a site provided by a central server (2). “Implementation” here means displaying the system (1) of the present invention so that a user or administrator can utilize or manage it.

In the seller terminal (3), the "seller" concept encompasses all consumers seeking to sell music or tickets, including performers, artists, entertainment companies, music or ticket sellers or brokers, and general buyers seeking to resell music or tickets. The "terminal" refers to any electronic device, including a mobile phone, computer, or server-accessible terminal. A dedicated app or program for accessing the central server (2) may be installed on the seller terminal (3).

In the purchaser terminal (4), the purchaser is a concept that includes all consumers who wish to purchase music or tickets. Most of them are general consumers who wish to listen to music or watch a performance, but they also include performers, artists, entertainment companies, etc., and there may be some overlap with the seller. The terminal refers to an electronic device including a mobile phone, a computer, or a terminal capable of accessing a server. Next, the configuration and function of the NFT server (20) of the present invention will be described. The present invention simultaneously issues a unique NFT to each object upon creation of a sound source or ticket, thereby recording, tracking, and managing the entire process of creation, transfer, re-transfer, and use (entry into a performance venue) of the object through the NFT. The execution of each platform of the central server (2) is based on NFT data information.

FIG. 2 is a conceptual diagram illustrating a smart contract of a sales system (1) using a blockchain-based NFT according to one embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 2, a sales system (1) utilizing a blockchain-based NFT according to one embodiment of the present invention can operate by storing information in a distributed form on a blockchain-based network and sharing it over the Internet based on the InterPlaNFTary File System (IPFS). IPFS can support information transfer to the blockchain-based network through smart contracts for the sales system.

Furthermore, IPFS can be structured based on a P2P method between identical layers, and when information is registered on a blockchain-based network based on IPFS, it operates so that the registered information can be stored in a distributed form on the blockchain-based network. Users connected to an IPFS-based network can manage the information by distributing and owning the information in the form of chunks, and when a service request related to the information occurs, the service request can be responded to based on the distributed information in the form of chunks.

A sales system (1) using a blockchain-based NFT according to one embodiment of the present invention can generate a hash code (or hash value) for the corresponding sound source or ticket when information on a ticket for a performance by a sound source or an artist is registered, and can store the generated hash code as a hash code for the corresponding sound source or ticket in a blockchain-based network.

Figure 14 is a diagram illustrating an example of the blockchain site of the present invention (explorer.koong.world; private and accessible only to administrators). "Sound source" should be interpreted in its broadest sense, encompassing not only audio, video, and audio contained in albums, media, or online files, but also accompanying photocards, performances, and images and videos of the artist. Furthermore, video and audio may include making-of films, filmed and edited to illustrate the artist's music-making process.

FIG. 4 is a configuration diagram of a sound source generation station (10a) in a sound source platform (10) of a sales system (1) using a blockchain-based NFT according to one embodiment of the present invention.

The sound source generation station (10a) includes a sound source information registration unit (100a), a smart contract unit (102a), an album information registration unit (104a), and an NFT issuance unit (106a).

The music source information registration section (100a) registers information such as genre, title, artist, sales date, and description. The smart contract section (102a) registers information on the music source's sales price, commission, and estimated revenue (sale price minus commission). The smart contract section (102a) includes and can display basic terms and conditions for music source sales by default. For example, the "commission" may be a predetermined percentage, which is the amount the original registrant of the music source receives when the purchaser resells the music source to a third party.

The album information registration section (104a) registers the artist's sound source files, and registers the artist's voice or video files according to the number of sound source registrations in the sound source information registration section (100a). Sound source files are typically actual music, dance, or performances released in a studio, personal studio, or during a performance, but past albums or videos can be uploaded, and photo cards or images attached to sound source files can also be included. There may be multiple sound source files registered.

Users can register multiple sound source files and enter the title, order, song title, artist, playing time, and lyrics for each. This is similar to creating an album, and thus, anyone can easily create an album or record online by following the process of the present invention.

In the present invention, it is desirable that the album information registration section (104a) be mandatory, because it is necessary to know actual information about the artist to induce genuine purchases.

Meanwhile, the sound source generation station (10a) of the present invention can divide the genre into, for example, “SingKoong” and “Collaboration” and then select one of them to use the sound source information registration unit (100a), the smart contract unit (102a), and the album information registration unit (104a). “SingKoong” is the same concept as described above, and “Collaboration” can be used when creating a sound source by combining it with a pre-stored sound source file provided by the system (1) of the present invention or when creating a joint album in collaboration with another artist.

Information in the sound source information registration section (100a), smart contract section (102a), and album information registration section (104a) is registered by the seller who accesses the central server (2) through the seller terminal (3) and goes through the identity verification process. However, some information in the smart contract section (102a) is stored as default.

Figure 5 is a flowchart illustrating a sound source information generation process performed by a sound source generation station (10a), an NFT server (20), and a DB (30).

When the seller confirms the information related to FIG. 4 generated by the sound source generation station (10a), a confirmation signal is transmitted to the NFT server (20) (S10). The NFT server (20) generates a unique NFT for the sound source information record (S12). The NFT may be a code such as “KOONG67780502BFB57-****” for the applicant’s website (koong.world), for example. The NFT server (20) associates and stores the generated NFT code with the necessary information among the sound source information, and transmits the generated NFT code to the sound source generation station (10a) (S14). The NFT issuing unit (106a) of the sound source generation station (10a) receives and stores the NFT code along with all information registered by the seller and its own default information, and these data are simultaneously transmitted to and stored in the DB (30) (S16). The sound source generation process is completed through the above process.

Sellers can log in through the seller terminal (3) and check all the album (music source) information they have registered along with the NFT code, and can modify or update it (e.g., add artist or album information).

In this way, the present invention can provide the functionality of a digital album and DVD by incorporating music, music videos, photo cards, tickets, and other music industry content into a single NFT, allowing consumers to directly own them. This allows for the creation of an "archive" where consumers can enjoy and own cultural consumption, such as by incorporating audio and video into an NFT album, including a making-of film that captures the entire music selection and production process. Furthermore, as described below, it can provide NFT ticket holders with follow-up videos containing footage before, during, and after a performance. Furthermore, it can create a market where the value of digital content is preserved, allowing only the owner to consume it and generate revenue through resale.

FIG. 6 is a configuration diagram of a music sales station (10b) in a sales system (1) using a blockchain-based NFT according to one embodiment of the present invention.

The buyer connects to the music sales station (10b) through the buyer terminal (4), checks the music information on the display, and decides on the music he or she wants to purchase by clicking on it (S20).

The music sales station (10b) receives related music information from the database (30) and displays more detailed information about the music on the next page (S22). This information includes details such as the music seller, NFT code, album (music) image and title, and the purchase price. The purchase price is the selling price set by the seller when the music was created. At the same time, a list of IDs that purchased the same music is displayed, thereby increasing the reliability of the music.

When a buyer confirms the music and decides to purchase by clicking "Purchase" (S24), the music sales execution unit (106b) executes a predetermined payment routine to complete the purchase (S26). The purchased music information is transmitted to the NFT server (20) and database (30), thereby updating the music data information (S28). Furthermore, all music information, including the NFT code, is transmitted to the purchaser's terminal (4), allowing the buyer to confirm the ticket purchase (S29).

In this way, the present invention has the advantage of providing an open market where not only famous artists but also individuals and groups can create and sell their own sound sources by including them in albums.

Next, Fig. 8 is a configuration diagram of a music source resale station (10c) in a sales system (1) using a blockchain-based NFT according to one embodiment of the present invention.

The sound source resale station (10c) includes a resale sound source generation unit (100c), a sound source display unit (102c) for resale, a sound source display unit (104c) for resale, a sound source display unit (106c) for resale completion and termination, and a sound source resale execution unit (108c).

In the present invention, reselling (RESALE) a sound source means reselling a sound source purchased through the sales system (1) of the present invention. Reselling can be repeated as necessary. Since the sales system (1) of the present invention operates based on NFT codes, reselling, such as uploading, any sound source purchased from a source other than the sales system (1) is fundamentally impossible. In other words, the present invention is characterized from a business perspective by providing a system that enables the simultaneous sale and resale of sound sources while maintaining their identity. Sound sources purchased through the system of the present invention cannot be resold or auctioned on other sites due to their unique NFT codes. A person wishing to resell a sound source connects via a seller terminal (3), essentially the original purchaser of the sound source. The reseller logs in, selects the ticket they wish to resell, and sets a resale price. Based on this information, the resale sound source generation unit (100c) generates resale sound source information. The resale sound source information is transmitted to the NFT server (20) and database (30), and the sound source information is updated to "Resale." The system (1) of the present invention can reduce the negative effects of so-called "scalping" sales by setting an upper limit on the number of resales or the resale price at this stage.

The resale music source display section (102c) displays information on music sources currently being resold, the resale-scheduled music source display section (104c) displays information on music sources scheduled for resale in the future, and the resale-completed and -ended music source display section (106c) displays resale information on music sources that have all been resold and music sources whose resale period has ended. The specific details of this information are similar to the information on the previously described music source sales station (10b), so a detailed description will be omitted.

Figure 9 is a flowchart illustrating a ticket resale process performed by a sound source resale station (10c), an NFT server (20), and a DB (30).

The buyer accesses the music resale station (10c) through the buyer terminal (4), views the music information, and decides on the resale music he or she wishes to purchase by clicking on it (S30).

The music resale station (10c) receives the associated music information from the database (30) and displays more detailed information about the music on the next page (S32). This information includes details such as the reseller of the music, NFT code, image and title of the music, and the resale price. The resale price is the price set by the seller when creating the music for resale. At the same time, a list of IDs that purchased the same resale music is displayed, thereby increasing the reliability of the music related to the resale. When the buyer confirms the music and decides to purchase it by clicking "Purchase" (S34), the music resale execution unit (108c) executes a predetermined payment routine to complete the purchase of the music (S36). The purchased music information is transmitted to the NFT server (20) and the database (30), and the music data information is updated (S38).

In the NFT server (20), the owner of the NFT code is entered as the buyer, and the previous owner is changed to the seller. The NFT code remains intact. The same routine is performed when reselling music, so the entire history of ticket creation, sale, purchase, resale, and purchase can be verified and guaranteed based on the NFT code change history. Furthermore, all music information, including the NFT code, is transmitted to the purchaser's terminal (4), allowing the purchaser to confirm the purchase of the music (S39).

FIG. 10 illustrates another embodiment of the present invention, wherein the resale sound source generation unit (100c) further includes an additional album information registration unit (140c). This allows, for example, the insertion of audio or video files recording a live performance by the sound source artist, or songs included in a new album. This allows the seller, when improving or updating the original sound source, to sell an improved, updated version of the sound source, rather than simply reselling the same sound source. The additional album information registration unit (140c) includes information data in the form of audio or video files. The seller may be a performing artist, a performance attendee, an organizing company, or a ticket sales agency. The seller accesses the website (1) of the present invention, determines the original sound source, and then uploads additional album information. Then, the database (30) generates and stores sound source information with additional sound source data added, and the content of this information is displayed on the resale sound source display unit (102c) of FIG. 8. Buyers can purchase updated music through the on-screen information on the music display. Next, the central server (2) of the music and ticket sales and resale system (1) using blockchain-based NFT of the present invention may further include a publishing platform (14) in addition to the platform of FIG. 1, as illustrated in FIG. 11. The publishing platform (14) includes a publishing display unit (140), which includes artist, composer, lyricist, project album, and archive information. The publishing platform discloses albums in progress by various artists who have already registered as sellers of the system (1) of the present invention, and the archive provides a list of music sources available for downloading or selling albums. Although the publishing platform (14) has different sales and purchase channels from other music platforms, it is convenient in terms of early discovery of promising artists, album production, and provision of services to consumers.
