Description

보조 집수정을 갖춘 도로 배수 시스템 및 그 시공 방법{Roadside drainage system with an auxiliary sump and its construction method}{Roadside drainage system with an auxiliary sump and its construction method}

The present invention relates to a road drainage system, and more particularly, to a road drainage system including a roadside sump, in which an auxiliary sump is additionally installed to improve the water discharge capacity to prevent clogging of the rainwater inlet of the roadside sump, and a construction method thereof.

Typically, a curb is installed between a sidewalk and a roadway to separate the sidewalk and the roadway. In addition, a general road drainage system installs a roadside sump on the lower side of the roadway adjacent to the curb. Typically, a roadside sump includes a sump body in the form of a concrete manhole structure that includes a rainwater storage space and a steel grating installed in the upper opening of the sump body, and holes formed in the steel grating installed in the upper opening of the sump body form a road drain, through which rainwater is drained out of the roadway.

However, during heavy rain, especially during the rainy season or typhoon season, road drains can become blocked by fallen leaves or trash, and these blocked road drains can cause rainwater to overflow to the edge of the road, resulting in serious flooding.

In the past, there were attempts to increase the water collection capacity by installing separate sumps connected to roadside sumps to prevent roadside flooding. However, these attempts were unable to solve the flooding problem caused by blockage of the rainwater inlet connected to the sump, i.e., the drainage of the roadway.

The above-described drainage port (222) is formed on the lower side of the other side of the water collection well main body (220). The drainage port (222) is formed lower than the connection pipe (300) so that rainwater flowing into the roadside water collection well (200) through the connection pipe (300) can be smoothly drained to the outside.

The auxiliary collection well (100) is installed in a place where a portion of a curbstone that separates a roadway and a sidewalk formed higher than the roadway has been removed, as mentioned above, so that at least a portion of the curbstone can also function as a curbstone. In addition, the auxiliary collection well (100) can be manufactured using, for example, waste plastic, etc. In this way, by recycling waste plastic, etc. in the manufacture of the auxiliary collection well (100), it is possible to contribute to resource recycling and environmental protection. In addition, the auxiliary collection well (100) includes an auxiliary collection well main body (120) with an open upper portion, and a cover (140) coupled to block the upper opening of the auxiliary collection well main body (120).

The upper surface of the auxiliary sump (100) forms a sidewalk surface, that is, a flush surface with the upper surface of the sidewalk, and a part of one side of the auxiliary sump (100) is configured to form a flush surface with a side of a curbstone (not shown) facing the roadway. More specifically, the upper surface of the cover (140) of the auxiliary sump (100) forms a flush surface with the sidewalk surface, and the upper one side of the auxiliary sump main body (120) and one side of the cover (140) are configured to form a flush surface with a side of the curbstone facing the roadway. To this end, the auxiliary sump main body (120) is formed in the shape of a rectangular solid in which the front-rear width and the left-right width are constant over a certain height section. In the present embodiment, the lower part of the auxiliary sump main body (120) is formed in the shape of a square pyramid in which the front-rear width and the left-right width gradually decrease as they go downward.

The above cover (140) includes a cover base (142) and a protrusion (142) formed on the lower portion of the cover base (141) and inserted into the upper opening of the auxiliary water collection body (120). In addition, the cover (140) includes a handle (145) installed in a concave portion (143) formed on the upper surface of the cover base (141). The handle (145) includes a handle body and two bolts formed integrally on the lower part of the handle body, and two nuts screwed into the lower part of the two bolts. If the handle (145) is not lifted, the handle (145) is received in the recessed portion (143) and does not protrude upward, so as not to interfere with the walking of a pedestrian. If the handle (145) is lifted, the nuts rise until they catch on the lower surface of the cover (140) and are outside the recessed portion (143), thus allowing a worker to easily open the cover (140) and clean its inside. In the present embodiment, a catch groove (146) is formed on the lower surface of the cover (140) to increase the height at which the nuts catch.

Meanwhile, a grid-shaped protruding rib (129) is formed on the outer surface of the lower side of the auxiliary water collection well body (120) so that the auxiliary water collection well (100) buried in the ground under the sidewalk is fixed without shaking. This grid-shaped protruding rib (129) increases the contact surface between the ground and the auxiliary water collection well (100), thereby increasing frictional force and contributing to minimizing the sliding movement of the auxiliary water collection well (100).

The above-mentioned side rainwater inlet (122) is formed as a long rectangle, that is, a long rectangle whose width is greater than its height, on the upper part of one of the four sides of the auxiliary water collection tank body (120) facing the roadway. At this time, it is advantageous for the lower end of the side rainwater inlet (122) to be formed higher than the roadway surface at the boundary with the roadway surface. Since the lower end of the side rainwater inlet (122) is formed higher than the roadway surface at the boundary with the roadway surface, when the roadside water collection tank (200) is blocked or flooded by fallen leaves or foreign substances, the resulting overflowed water can flow into the auxiliary water collection tank (100) over the lower end of the side rainwater inlet (100).

Although not shown, a hinge can be installed at the top of the side rainwater inlet (122) and a cover can be installed on the hinge to rotate toward the inside of the auxiliary water collection tank body (120) by the water pressure of the rainwater, thereby preventing foreign matter from entering during normal times.

In addition, the rainwater discharge port (124) is formed at the lower side of one side of the auxiliary water collection tank main body (120) where the side rainwater inlet port (122) is formed. In addition, the rainwater discharge port (124) is connected to one end of the connecting pipe (300), and the front end of the connecting pipe (300) is connected to the connecting hole (221) formed at the upper side of one side of the roadside water collection tank (200), so that water flowing into the auxiliary water collection tank (100) flows out of the roadside water collection tank (200). At this time, the connecting pipe (300) may be located on the ground below the road surface between the roadside water collection tank (200) and the auxiliary water collection tank (100). At this time, it is preferable that the water level of rainwater collected in the auxiliary collection tank (100) be at a certain level or higher than the internal floor level of the auxiliary collection tank (100) so that it can flow from the auxiliary collection tank (100) to the roadside collection tank (200) while the water level rises to a certain level or higher. In addition, it is preferable that the connecting pipe (300) be horizontal.

Since the height of the above-mentioned side rainwater inlet hole (122) is the highest, and the height of the rainwater outlet (124) and the connecting pipe (300) provided in the auxiliary sump (100) are next highest, and the drainage hole (222) of the roadside sump (200) is positioned the lowest, when there is heavy rain or flooding, and further, when the rainwater inlet hole formed in the steel grating (240) is at least partially blocked, so that the rainwater cannot drain smoothly into the roadside sump (200) and is about to overflow from the edge of the road near the curb, the rainwater can flow into the auxiliary sump (100) through the side inlet (122) of the auxiliary sump (100), then flow into the roadside sump (200) and drain through the drain (222), which can greatly contribute to preventing road flooding due to heavy rain.

According to one embodiment, the dimensions of the auxiliary collection well (100) may be approximately 500 mm × 550 mm × 710 mm (height). The thickness of the auxiliary collection well body (120) of the auxiliary collection well (100) is preferably approximately 10 to 20 mm.

The system according to the present invention can be implemented by removing a part of a curbstone dividing a roadway and a sidewalk and installing an auxiliary sump (100) in the removed space. Instead of removing the blocked curbstone, an auxiliary sump (100) is installed with a side rainwater inlet (122) open toward the roadway side and a temporary rainwater storage space formed inside, so that when rainwater drainage through the rainwater inlet hole formed in the steel grating of the roadside sump (200) is not smooth, rainwater that may overflow is sequentially guided and drained through the side rainwater inlet (122) to the auxiliary sump (100) and the roadside sump (200), so that it can be advantageously used to prepare for flooding when the roadside sump (200) does not function properly. In addition, the cover (140) can be easily cleaned by opening the cover when a blockage occurs without interfering with pedestrians walking on the sidewalk.

In addition, the upper surface of the auxiliary sump (100) forms a sidewalk surface, i.e., a flush surface with the upper surface of the sidewalk, and a side projection (121) is formed on one upper side of the auxiliary sump main body (120) so as to protrude toward the roadway side and be inserted into a removed area of the curbstone. The upper surface of the cover (140) of the auxiliary sump (100) forms a flush surface with the sidewalk surface, and the upper surface and side surface of the side projection (121) formed on one upper side of the auxiliary sump main body (120) are configured to form a flush surface with the upper surface of the curbstone and a side of the curbstone facing the roadway, respectively. In addition, the side rainwater inlet (122) is formed in a rectangular shape that is elongated left and right on the upper side of one of the four sides of the auxiliary water collection tank main body (120) facing the roadway side, more specifically, on the side protrusion (121). The side rainwater inlet (122) may be formed in a rectangular shape, and a crossbar (R) is installed to cross the rectangular side rainwater inlet (122) left and right. In the present embodiment, the crossbar (R) is formed of a circular bar. However, a structure having a different plate may be installed instead of the circular bar. The lower end of the side rainwater inlet (122) may be formed so that it is substantially at the same height as the roadway surface at the boundary with the roadway.

Here, when selecting the construction location of the road drainage system by conducting a preliminary investigation of the habitual flooding area, if necessary, prior consultation can be held with related government offices or institutions such as city, county, or district offices.

In the case where the roadside sump (200) has already been constructed, the selection of the construction location and the burial location of the drainage system need only consider the construction location and burial location of the auxiliary sump (100). However, in the case where the auxiliary sump (100) and the roadside sump (200) must be constructed together or changed, the construction location and burial location of the auxiliary sump (100) and the roadside sump (200) must be considered together. Underground facilities that may be damaged during excavation work may include communication/electrical lines, water pipes, sewage pipes, and other pipelines. In addition, when excavating, the excavation work should be carried out carefully and cautiously while anticipating unknown underground facilities that have not been reported or identified in advance.
