A composition for preventing and improving hair loss according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises an extract of the plant.

The above hair care product may contain, but is not limited to, the fragrance composition of the present invention and at least one selected from the group consisting of a cationic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, and a cationic polymer. The cationic surfactant used in the hair care product may contain, but is not limited to, at least one selected from the group consisting of cetrimonium chloride, stearamidopropyldimethylamine, dicetyldimethylammonium chloride, and ester quattro.

The amphoteric surfactant used in the hair care product may be at least one selected from the group consisting of cocamidopropyl betaine, cocoamphocarboxyglycinate, and cocoamphocarboxypropionate, but is not limited thereto.

The nonionic surfactant used in the hair care product may be at least one selected from the group consisting of lauric acid diethanolamide, palm oil fatty acid diethanolamide, palm oil fatty acid monoethanolamide, lauryl dimethylamine oxide, and palm oil alkyl dimethylamine oxide, but is not limited thereto. The cationic polymer used in the hair care product may be at least one selected from the group consisting of natural cationic polymers including guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, hydroxypropyl guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, and quaternary hydroxy ethyl cellulose; and the group consisting of synthetic cationic polymers including dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride polymer, acrylamidomethyl diallyl ammonium chloride copolymer, and polyvinyl pyrrolidone dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate copolymer, but is not limited thereto. The hair dye may be a hair dye comprising the fragrance composition of the present invention and a precursor and a coupler, but is not limited thereto.

The personal care products of the present invention, such as body care products, can be used as a single ingredient or mixed with other stabilizers in bath and shower additives, fragrance and flavoring agent-containing preparations, hair care products, deodorants and antiperspirants, decorative preparations, photoprotective formulations and preparations containing active ingredients.

The above body care products include, but are not limited to, body oils, body lotions, body gels, treatment creams, skin protective ointments, shaving preparations such as shaving foams or gels, skin powders such as baby powder, moisturizing gels, moisturizing sprays, revitalizing body sprays, cellulite gels and peeling preparations.

Suitable bath and shower additives include shower gels, bath salts, bubble baths and soaps. Preparations containing fragrances and flavoring substances include perfumes, toners and shaving lotions (aftershave preparations). The body care products may be in the form of, but are not limited to, creams, ointments, pastes, foams, gels, lotions, powders, makeup, sprays, sticks or aerosols.

The above body care products may also include, but are not limited to, stabilizing admixtures, and optionally additional UV absorbers, sterically hindered amines, complexing agents, and phenolic or non-phenolic antioxidants.

The present invention provides an antioxidant composition based on natural products.

The present invention provides a composition that exhibits scalp improvement, hair loss prevention and improvement effects based on natural substances.

The present invention provides a composition that can be taken or used for a long period of time without any side effects.

Another embodiment of the present invention provides various formulations of foods, detergents or external agents containing the composition and capable of achieving the functional effects of the composition.

Figure 1 shows image processing in an animal experiment according to one embodiment of the present invention.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail so that those skilled in the art can easily implement the invention. However, the present invention may be implemented in various different forms and is not limited to the embodiments described herein.

[Manufacturing Example: Manufacturing of extract]

1. Preparation of extract of the plant

After washing and cutting the paper vegetable, it was extracted with hot water. After extraction, it was filtered and concentrated to produce paper vegetable extract (AE).

2. Preparation of other extracts

Kelp extract (BE), lavender extract (CE), soybean extract (DE), mountain ash extract (EE), and eucommia extract (FE) were prepared using the same method as the above AE.

3. Preparation of mixed composition

In order to confirm the synergistic effect by each mixed composition, a mixed composition was prepared with the composition shown in [Table 1] below.

[Experimental Example: Active Evaluation]

1. Measurement of DPPH radical scavenging activity

The scavenging activity for DPPH radical, a representative cation radical, was measured by the method of Gyamfi et al. First, 0.1 mM DPPH solution 1 and 50 mM Tris-Hcl buffer (pH 7.4) 450 were added to sample 50, mixed, and reacted at room temperature for 30 minutes. After that, the absorbance was measured at a wavelength of 517 nm using a microplate reader (VersaMax, Molecular Devices, USA). The scavenging activity of DPPH radical was expressed as scavenging ability through regression analysis.

In order to objectively compare the effects according to each example, the result of the control using purified water was fixed to 1, and the results of each example were compared and evaluated with an index of 1 to 10, which is shown in [Table 2] below. The higher the index number, the better the radical scavenging activity.

2. Measurement of total polyphenol content

Total polyphenol content was measured by adding 2 mL of 2% sodium carbonate and 100 ㎕ of 50% Folin-Ciocalteu reagent to 100 ㎕ of reagent according to the method of Dewanto et al. (Dewanto et al., 2002 J Agric Food Chem 50, 3010-3014), and measuring the absorbance at 720 nm. The content was calculated using a calibration curve of gallic acid (Sigma-Aldrich Co., USA).

In order to objectively compare the effects according to each example, the result of AE was fixed to 1, and the results of each example were compared and evaluated with an index of 1 to 10, which is shown in [Table 3] below. The index below indicates that the polyphenol content is superior in that number.

3. Evaluation of proliferation activity of mammary papilla cells

After seeding 5 × 10 ³ cells/well of human papilla cells (HFDPCs, PromoCell, Heidelberg, Germany), the medium was replaced on the first day and cultured for 24 hours. On the second day, CCK-8 (Cell Counting Kit-8) was measured (initial value average: 0.591) and sample treatment was performed before sample treatment. At this time, the sample was treated at 100 ppm. CCK-8 was measured on the fifth day. The average of the control value was 0.554, confirming that the cells did not die and the number maintained the initial value. The media used in the experiment were DMEM (10% FBS, 1% P/S), depletion media: 5% charcoal stripped FBS containing phenol-red free DMEM media, SF (serum free) media - DMEM (1% P/S).

In order to objectively compare the effects according to each example, the result of the control using purified water was fixed to 1, and the results of each example were compared and evaluated with an index of 1 to 10, which is shown in [Table 4] below. The higher the index number, the better the proliferation activity of mammary papilla cells.

4. Evaluation of mouse hair growth promotion activity

In order to evaluate the hair growth promoting activity of the composition according to the present invention, three mice (four mice in the control group) were selected for each group, and the effect on the hair density of the mice in each group was evaluated. In the case of the control group, only purified water was provided, and the remaining groups were provided with each composition, and the effect of each composition on the hair density was confirmed for 10 weeks.

To check the hair density, the same side of the mouse was photographed and the image was processed as in Fig. 1. The density was evaluated by applying the body weight value of each mouse to the hair density obtained from the processed image.

In order to objectively compare the effects according to each example, the result of the control using purified water was fixed to 1, and the results of each example were compared and evaluated with an index of 1 to 10, which is shown in [Table 5] below. The higher the index number, the better the mouse hair density value, indicating better hair growth promotion activity.

Referring to the above experimental results, it can be seen that the extract of the plant of the present invention has antioxidant activity with excellent radical scavenging ability. It can be confirmed that it promotes the proliferation of mammary papilla cells and has hair growth promoting activity.

In addition, in the case of the mixed composition, synergistic activity was observed in the composition range of M4 to M6, and it can be confirmed that, in the case of the above range, excellent hair loss prevention and improvement effects can be achieved through excellent antioxidant activity as well as proliferation of hair papilla cells and hair growth promotion activity. Therefore, in the case of the above range, a hair loss prevention and improvement composition showing excellent effects with a smaller content can be provided, and accordingly, excellent effects can be shown with a smaller content.

Meanwhile, additional synergistic effects were observed for M9 to M11. In particular, for M9 to M11, the polyphenol content did not differ significantly from that of M4 to M7, but it was confirmed that the antioxidant activity was synergistic and that hair papilla activity and hair growth promotion activity were enhanced. Therefore, it can be assumed that for M9 to M11, hair loss prevention and improvement effects are expressed through different mechanisms due to the interaction of different effective ingredients from M4 to M6.

Therefore, in the case of the above range, an excellent effect can be exhibited with a smaller amount, and accordingly, the functional effect suggested by the present invention can be achieved while using it for a long period of time without problems such as side effects.

Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above, the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto, and various modifications and improvements made by those skilled in the art using the basic concept of the present invention defined in the following claims also fall within the scope of the present invention.
