Abstract

The present invention relates to a multifunctional bed for vulnerable groups, including the elderly and the disabled, who have muscle weakness, difficulty moving, or physical disabilities, and more specifically, to a multifunctional bed that can be converted into various positions for moving, sitting, and preventing bedsores, and has a bathing assistance function.

Elderly and disabled people who have difficulty moving and are bedridden for long periods of time generally have difficulty or are unable to move on their own and must lie in bed in the same position for long periods of time.

When lying on a bed in the same position like this, blood circulation and metabolism do not proceed smoothly in the body parts that are pressed against the bed mattress by the patient's body weight.

Because blood circulation and metabolism are not smooth, bedsores develop in the affected body parts, causing doubly painful experiences for the patients.

To prevent bedsores, the patient's lying position should be changed at regular intervals to relieve pressure on the affected area.

In particular, patients who have difficulty or are unable to move tend to lie down, which increases the pressure on their back and buttocks, so bedsores often occur on the back and buttocks. To prevent bedsores from occurring on the back and buttocks, patients should be periodically turned to the left or right side.

However, it is difficult to always have a family member or caregiver by the patient's side, and even if a family member or caregiver is present, it is very difficult to frequently change the position of a heavy patient.

To solve these problems, air mattresses that inflate air were designed, but they had the problem that they could increase patient discomfort because one side was excessively inflated without considering the comfort of the patient lying down, making it difficult for the patient to maintain a horizontal position.

In addition, conventional beds not only have difficulty preventing bedsores, but also have difficulty in changing to various sitting or lying positions (eating, etc.), which are functional positions necessary for the vulnerable, and in moving the bed itself. The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems of the related art, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide a multi-functional bed that accurately implements a movement that maintains the posture of a subject while preventing concentrated load from being applied to a part of the body.

In addition, another object of the present invention is to provide a multi-functional bed that facilitates patient transfer by putting a patient on or off the bed, or makes it convenient to sit down or move.

In addition, another object of the present invention is to provide a multifunctional bed with a shower function.

The technical problems of the present invention are not limited to the technical problems mentioned above, and other technical problems not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art to which the present invention belongs from the description below.

As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 7b, a multifunctional bed (A) according to the present invention comprises a mattress frame (100) divided into two or more and each connected to each other by a hinge structure to rotate, and a pair of side rotation rails (200) installed on the long sides of the mattress frame (100).

The mattress frame (100) is formed by dividing into a headboard (110), a neckboard (120), a backboard (130), a thighboard (140), and a legboard (150), and each adjacent board is rotated by a driving means.

Here, the driving means is not particularly limited as it can be applied to a motor, air/hydraulic cylinder, gear, sprocket, or a known mechanical means.

Accordingly, as shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b, the mattress frame (100) can be rotated to be used in a position where only the patient's head is raised or lowered, a position where only the legs are raised or lowered, a sitting position, a lying position, a semi-lying position, or a chair-like position.

That is, the mattress frame (100) is divided into multiple parts and each part is connected to each other with a hinge structure and can be transformed into various shapes by rotation to support the patient, thereby changing the posture of a patient with difficulty in moving as if a caregiver is taking care of the patient. It accurately implements a movement that prevents concentrated load from being applied to a part of the body while maintaining the patient's posture.

The present invention provides all of the existing operating functions for various positions that a patient may assume, such as for eating or reading, as in a conventional hospital bed.

In addition, although not shown, a main frame is provided that supports the mattress frame (100) and accommodates a driving means inside. The main frame is provided with wheels so that it can be moved.

A side rotation rail (200) is installed on the long side of the mattress frame (100) to prevent the patient from falling.

And, as shown in Fig. 3, the side rotation rail (200) is configured to be raised and lowered by a lifting means.

Here, a known mechanical means such as an air or hydraulic cylinder is applied as the lifting means.

Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the side rotation rail (200) is provided with a rotation member (210) that rotates by a driving means such as a known motor, and a transverse sheet (220) is configured to be slidably wound on the rotation member (210).

Accordingly, as in FIG. 5a, the side rotation rail (200) is lowered to conveniently transport the patient, or as in FIG. 5b, the transverse seat (220) is rolled to change the patient's posture to prevent bedsores, or as in FIG. 5c, one of the side rotation rails (200) is lowered and the other of the side rotation rails (200) is raised, and the rotation member (210) is rotated so that the transverse seat (220) slides to move the patient's position.

In addition, a pair of lifting rails (300) are further provided, which are installed on the short side of the mattress frame (100) and are raised and lowered by a lifting means.

Accordingly, a seat (220) is placed on a pair of elevator rails (300).

Here, a known mechanical means such as an air or hydraulic cylinder is applied as the lifting means.

According to the present invention, a motion is implemented to prevent continuous pressure from being applied to a part of the patient's body by changing the patient's posture by a mattress frame (100), a pair of side rotation rails (200), and a pair of lifting rails (300). That is, bedsores, etc. are prevented.

Meanwhile, as shown in FIGS. 6a to 6d, the mattress frame (100) is installed with an air/hydraulic cylinder (500) to perform tilting and lifting.

Additionally, as shown in FIGS. 7a and 7b, shower rails (400) are provided on each side of the mattress frame (100).

A plurality of nozzles (410) are installed at equal intervals on these shower rails (400), and the nozzles (410) are configured to spray water section by section or individually by a valve.

At this time, valves may be installed in each nozzle (410) to open and close individual nozzles (410), or valves may be installed in a path that divides a range among multiple nozzles (410) and supplies water to that range to open and close only nozzles (410) in a specific range.

In addition, the shower rail (400) is raised and lowered by installing a known lifting means such as an air/hydraulic cylinder, and the rising height of the shower rail (400) is higher than that of the side rotation rail (200) and the lifting rail (300).

Accordingly, the patient can take a shower while lying on the bed by using the shower rail (400).
