Description

FIRE PROTECTION CURTAIN WALL STRUCTURE}FIRE PROTECTION CURTAIN WALL STRUCTURE

The present invention relates to a fireproof curtain wall structure, and more specifically, to a fireproof curtain wall structure capable of preventing a glass window from falling off the frame when a fire occurs.

A curtain wall is a structure installed on the main structure of columns and beams of a building to support vertical/horizontal loads applied to the building from the outside. It is a frame structure for attaching and detaching finishing materials such as glass walls.

Typically, curtain wall structures are equipped with horizontal and vertical frames, and glass walls made of double-layer glass are installed via adapter members mounted on these frames.

Curtain walls have the advantage of reducing the load on a building and shortening the construction period by mass producing panels of the same specifications at a factory and installing them on site. In addition, high-insulation, high-airtightness curtain walls are being developed to reduce heat energy loss in terms of energy efficiency.

Figure 1 is a cross-sectional example showing a conventional curtain wall structure.

As illustrated in FIG. 1, a conventional curtain wall structure (10) comprises a frame (11) that is fixed to the exterior wall of a building and has a window connecting piece (12) formed thereon, glass windows (13) positioned on both sides of the window connecting piece (12), a glass fixing tape (14) attached to the outer surface of the frame (11), internal structural silicone (15) filled in the glass fixing tape (14), a back-up material (16) inserted between the window connecting piece (12) and the glass window (13), and external waterproofing silicone (17) filled in the back-up material (16). That is, the glass window (13) is fixed to the frame (11) by the glass fixing tape (14), the internal structural silicone (15), the back-up material (16), and the external waterproofing silicone (17). However, since these tapes or sealants such as silicone may lose their function in the event of a fire, there is a problem that the glass window (13) may fall off from the frame (11).

With regard to conventional curtain walls, Korean Patent Publication No. 2010-0132098 (hereinafter referred to as “prior document”) discloses a curtain wall system of a unit installation method utilizing double vertical frame members, and here too, two layers of glass (31a, 31b) are finished only with gaskets (45a, 45b) and sealants (30S).

Since the loss of glass in the event of a fire is closely related to safety accidents, technology to prevent this is required.

Republic of Korea Patent Publication No. 2010-0132098 (published on December 17, 2010)

The second recessed portion (114) may be formed by additional recessing in the first recessed portion (111). The second recessed portion (114) may also be formed to extend along the longitudinal direction of the vertical support frame (110). A first through hole (115) may be formed in the second recessed portion (114), and the first through holes (115) may be formed at regular intervals along the longitudinal direction of the vertical support frame (110).

Additionally, the fireproof structural member (200) may have a fireproof gasket (210) and a protrusion (220).

The fire gasket (210) is formed in a shape corresponding to the first recessed portion (111) and can be inserted and connected to the first recessed portion (111). Both ends of the fire gasket (210) can be formed to have a tapered shape (211) corresponding to the edge (112) of the first recessed portion (111). Through this, after the fire gasket (210) is inserted into the first recessed portion (111), the binding force between the fire gasket (210) and the first recessed portion (111) can be increased.

The protrusion (220) may be formed in the fireproof gasket (210) and may be formed in a shape corresponding to the second recessed portion (114) and inserted into the second recessed portion (114). A second through hole (221) may be formed in the protrusion (220), and the second through hole (221) may be formed to correspond to the first through hole (115).

In addition, the protrusion (220) may have a fitting piece (222). The fitting piece (222) may be formed on both sides of the protrusion (220) and may be formed to have a width (W2) greater than the width (W1) of the second recessed portion (114). When the protrusion (220) is inserted into the second recessed portion (114), the fitting piece (222) may also be fitted into the second recessed portion (114) and pressurize both sides of the second recessed portion (114), thereby increasing the bonding force between the protrusion (220) and the second recessed portion (114). This increase in the bonding force may effectively prevent the fireproof structural member (200) from falling off when the fireproof structural member (200) is temporarily bonded to the vertical support frame (110).

When the fireproof structural member (200) is inserted and connected to the vertical support frame (110), the front surface of the fireproof gasket (210) and the front surface of the vertical support frame (110) can be formed at the same height. In addition, the material of the fireproof structural member (200) is not limited to a specific material as long as it has high fireproof performance.

The insulating pillar material (310) is not limited to a specific material as long as it has insulating performance.

Meanwhile, the fireproof curtain wall structure may include a first fastening member (800), and the first fastening member (800) may have a bolt (810) and a nut (811).

The bolt (810) passes through the first through hole (115) from the inside of the vertical support frame (110) and the second through hole (221) formed in the fireproof structural member (200) and protrudes forward of the fireproof structural member (200) and can be joined to the first through hole (311) of the insulating pillar member (310).

Figure 8 is an example cross-sectional view taken along line C-C' of Figure 2.

As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 8, the anti-falling member (600) may have a pressure plate (610) and a second fastening member (620).

The pressure plate (610) may be positioned so that its rear surface is in close contact with the fire window (430). The pressure plate (610) may have a circular shape, and a third through hole (611) may be formed in the center.

The second fastening member (620) can be connected to the insulating pillar material (310) by penetrating the third through hole (611) and the third sealant (560) from the front of the pressure plate (610). By the second fastening member (620), the pressure plate (610) can press the fire window (430) toward the vertical support frame (110) and restrain the fire window (430) from moving forward.

In conventional curtain wall structures, there is a problem that the function of the fixing part is lost when a fire occurs, causing the glass window to fall out. However, according to the present invention, even if a fire occurs, the heat or flame of the fire can be effectively blocked by the fireproof structural member (200) and the insulating structural member (300), thereby preventing the loss of the function of the fixing part. In addition, even if the function of the fixing part is lost, since the fall-prevention member (600) can restrain the fire window (430) and prevent the fire window (430) from falling out, not only the fire window (430), but also the first glass window (410) and the second glass window (420) behind the fire window (430) can be prevented from falling out, thereby reducing the risk of safety accidents.

Meanwhile, the drop-off prevention unit (600) can be implemented in various forms.
