Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a coil transfer device.
The production process of wire rod is generally produced through a series of processes such as wire-making, steel-continuous casting, rolling-winding-cooling-transfer. Particularly, changes in the wire structure and physical properties during the wire rod production process greatly vary depending on the cooling rate of the cooling zone after winding.
Generally, in the case of the spring steel wire, the cooling rate is cooled at the slowest possible rate in order to prevent cold tissues such as martensite and bait knight from coming out. However, due to the characteristics of the wire coil, temperature fluctuation occurs even in the same coil, and due to the cooling control limit in the air-cooling band relatively, there is a case where the transformation is partially completed and the coolant is deviated from the cooling zone.
If the transformation is not completed within the cooling zone, it may be locally quenched by contact with the draft and coil transfer device during transfer, resulting in a cold structure. Therefore, there is a need for a transfer device capable of preventing quenching during transfer of the coil after leaving the cooling zone.
An object of an embodiment of the present invention is to provide a coil transfer device for preventing a coil from being cooled by an external environment in a process of transferring a coil.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a coil transfer apparatus including: a horizontal table for supporting a coil; An upper pedestal arranged to be spaced apart from the horizontal stand and equipped with a heat insulating member capable of covering the coil; A roller member provided on the upper pedestal for winding or uncoiling the heat insulating member; A driving unit for rotating the roller member; And a shaft member connected to the driving unit, wherein the roller member includes a first roller member and a second roller member rotatably provided in the same direction, and the shaft member is rotatably supported by the first roller member and the second roller member, The shaft member and the roller members are rotated in opposite directions to engage with the roller member, and the heat insulating member can be configured to be wound or unwound according to the conveying position of the coil.
The coil transfer device according to an embodiment of the present invention can prevent the coils from being cooled by the external environment in the process of transferring the coils.
