Abstract

The present invention relates to a box for a vehicle. A frame of the box of the present invention is formed by a box body (10) which has internal space (13) formed therein by coupling a first body (11) and a second body (12) to each other. The box body (10) is made in a plate shape and is vertically erected in a fixing unit of a vehicle. In both lower sides of the box body (10), mounting units (20) are orthogonally extended from the box body (10) to be extended in parallel to the fixing unit. Multiple part mounting units (30) are formed in the external side surface of the first body (11). The part mounting units (30) are divided by the outside and a mounting unit wall (34) and has mounting space (32) formed therein. A parallel extending piece (40) is formed at the closest part to the fixing unit in the mounting unit wall (34) to be extended in parallel to the fixing unit, and a holding projection (42) is formed at the tip end of the parallel extending piece (40) to hold the upper ends of parts (50) mounted in the part mounting units (30). According to the present invention, the box requires a minimum area to be installed in the fixing unit of the vehicle and is able to firmly mount the parts (50) in the part mounting units (30).

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an automotive box, and more particularly to a box in which legs of parts mounted on a box are placed parallel to a fixed portion on which the box is mounted.

Automobile boxes are used in automobiles and can transmit power and control signals to various devices used in automobiles. Such automotive boxes are equipped with components such as fuses, relays and resistors. In order to electrically connect the electronic parts such as the fuse, the resistor and the relay to the outside, many wires are connected to the inside and the outside of the vehicle box.

It is necessary to utilize the internal space as efficiently as possible in designing the automobile. When mounting parts such as boxes to the fixed part of the interior of the vehicle, the installation area is preferably minimized. This is because the fixed portion of the automobile has a limited area. In general, since the space spaced by a predetermined height from the fixing portion often has some allowance, it is necessary that the area of the fixing portion on which the component is provided is minimized.

Connection bolts (26, 28) protrude from one side of the box body (10). The connecting bolts 26, 28 are for power connection between the box and the outside. The connecting bolts 26 and 28 protrude outward through the side surface of the second body portion 12 in this embodiment.

A plurality of component mounting portions 30 are formed on one side of the box body 10. In this embodiment, the component mounting portion 30 is formed on the widest outer side surface of the second body 12.
