Abstract
본 발명은 폐기물을 소각 처리하기 위한 소각로와, 이 소각로에서 배출되는 고온의 배기가스를 냉각시키기 위한 폐열 보일러와, 이 폐열 보일러로부터 덕트를 통해 유입되는 배기가스에 액상 소석회를 분사하여 가스상의 오염물질을 흡착하기 위한 반건식 반응탑과, 이 반응탑의 후단에 배치되어 중금속이나 다이옥신류를 포집하기 위한 활성탄 공급부와, 배기가스 상에 함유된 미립자를 제거하기 위한 백 필터로 이루어진 통상의 집진 설비로서, 상기 보일러의 덕트로부터 배기가스가 유입되는 반응탑의 상단부에 원심력을 부여하기 위한 가스유도수단이 마련되어 있으며, 이 가스유도수단은 덕트의 선단부가 고정 설치되도록 절결부를 갖는 원통형상의 외통체와, 이 외통체 내부의 동일 중심선 상에 배설되는 원통형상의 내통체와, 이들 외,내통체의 중앙부에 장착되는 파이프의 끝단부에 액상 소석회를 공급하기 위한 노즐로 이루어져 있다.
Description
본 발명은 폐기되는 생활 쓰레기나 플라스틱이나 고무 등과 같은 통상의 고형 폐기물을 소각 처리하여 배출하는 과정에서 반건식 반응탑으로 유입되는 배기가스 내에 함유된 산성가스를 보다 효율적으로 제거함은 물론 고가의 약품 비용을 절감할 수 있도록 구성한 반건식 반응탑에서의 다단 원심력을 이용한 배기가스 유도장치에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로, 생활 쓰레기를 포함한 폐 플라스틱이나 폐 비닐, 폐 타이어 등과 같은 고형 폐기물은 매립이나 소각에 의해 처리하고 있으나 난 분해성 물질의 매립으로 인한 토양의 오염은 물론 매립지의 확보에 어려움이 있고, 더구나 소각 처리시에 배출되는 연소가스로부터 인체에 극히 유해하다고 알려져 있는 클로로디벤조디옥산(chlorodibenzodioxa acid), 클로로디벤조푸란(chlorodibenzofuran) 등과 같은 다이옥신류나 염화수소(HCL), 불화수소(HF), 황산화물(SO2) 등의 산성가스를 함유하고 있기 때문에 큰 문제로 대두되고 있다.
이러한 대기오염 방지시설로서 잘 알려져 있는 집진 설비는, 연소 처리되는 배기가스로부터 미립자(微粒子)를 포집하여 제거할 수 있도록 함에 따라 깨끗하게 정화된 청정공기를 배출시키기 위해 설치되고 있으며, 특히 오염물질 중에 포함되어 있는 산성가스를 제거하기 위한 설비가 부수적으로 마련된다.
이 설비는 습식법, 반건식법, 건식법으로 구분할 수 있으며, 산성가스의 높은 용해도를 고려하면 습식법이 제거 효율면에서 가장 좋으나 별도의 폐수 처리설비를 필요로 한다는 단점이 있고, 반건식법은 제거 효율은 습식법에 비해 다소 떨어지지만 이차적인 폐수 처리설비가 필요 없고 설치비용 및 운전 비용이 적게 소요된다는 장점을 가지고 있다.
그렇지만, 상기 반건식법의 경우, 배기가스의 유체 역학적 해석과 반응탑 내로 약품을 분사하는 기술이나 그 반응과 건조에 필요한 조건, 반응탑 표면에 건조된 약품 축적의 방지기술, 배기가스의 유입온도 조절 등과 같은 보다 많은 기술들을 요구한다.
이와 같은 집진설비와 관련하여 공지된 기술로서, 예를 들어 국내 등록특허 제0623854호 공보에는 각종 산업체의 보일러 연소 및 소각 후처리 공정에서 배출되는 황산화물(SOx) 및 염화수소(HCl) 등과 같은 유해 산성가스와 비산 연소재 등과 같은 먼지를 동시에 제거하기 위한 대기오염 방지설비에 있어서의 유해가스 처리와 집진이 일체형 장치에서 동시에 처리될 수 있도록 한 「일체형 반건식반응기 및 전기집진 장치」에 대한 기술이 개시되어 있다.
또, 등록특허 제0654532호 공보에는 반응탑과 여과 집진기의 사이로 이동하는 산성가스의 이동 통로인 덕트 내에 안내깃을 설치하여 층류 상태로 이동하는 배기가스의 흐름을 난류 상태로 흐르도록 하여 미반응된 약품과 제거되지 않은 산성가스 및 대기오염물질이 혼합되어 반응을 촉진시킬 수 있도록 한 「산성가스 처리장치용 안내깃」에 관한 기술이 개시되어 있다.
또한, 등록특허 제0769667호 공보에는 소각로의 운전시 발생되는 배기가스 중의 유해물질인 NOx, SOx, HCl, 다이옥신, 비산재(Flyash) 등의 제거를 위해 마련되는 SCR 촉매탑을 소각 및 연소 처리시스템에 별도로 구성하지 아니하고 이를 집진장치에 교체 가능하게 이동 구성함으로써, 상기 SCR 촉매탑을 갖추는 데 따르는 부지 확보 및 설비비, 유지 관리에 소요되는 비용의 절감을 통해 소각 및 연소 처리시스템을 보다 효율적으로 구성할 수 있는 「소각 및 연소로의 배기가스 일괄 처리시스템」에 관한 기술이 개시되어 있다.
그러나, 상술한 바와 같은 종래 기술에 있어서는 반건식 반응탑에서 배기가스와 반응하여 생성되는 물질이 충분히 건조되지 못할 경우에 반응탑의 내부 벽에 누적되어 고착(固着)되는 경향이 있으며, 산성가스의 제거효율을 높이기 위해 노즐을 통해 분무하는 약품의 양을 늘리게 되면 과다한 약품 비용을 부담해야 하는 문제가 발생한다.
또한, 반응탑에 후속 설치된 백 필터(Bag Filter)의 내부로 유입되는 배기가스의 온도가 낮아짐에 따라 수분이 응축하여 백 필터의 미세 틈에 눈막힘 현상을 일으켜 고장의 원인이 되기도 한다.
더구나, 약품의 양을 제어하는 자동밸브를 반응탑의 출구온도와 비례하여 제어할 수 있도록 구성해야만 하며, 운전 정지시에 발생할 수 있는 결로현상을 방지하기 위하여 별도의 단열재 등을 설치해야 함은 물론 정기적으로 반응탑의 내부에 고착된 약품을 제거해 주어야만 하는 문제를 내포하고 있는 것이었다.
본 발명은 상술한 바와 같은 종래 기술의 문제를 감안하여 이루어진 것으로서, 본 발명의 목적은 반건식 반응탑의 상단부와 배기가스가 유입되는 덕트 사이에 가스유도수단을 마련하여 배기가스의 흐름 변화에 따른 편류현상을 방지할 수 있는 반건식 반응탑에서의 다단 원심력을 이용한 배기가스 유도장치를 제공함에 있다.
또한, 본 발명은 가스유도수단을 구성하는 외통체와 내통체 사이에 곡선형상의 유도판을 순차적으로 장착하여 배기가스를 분할 유입시킬 수 있도록 함에 따라 원심력을 이용한 가스 회전력을 상승시킴으로써 배기가스와 노즐에서 분사되는 약품의 접촉시간을 최대한 유지하여 배기가스 중에 함유되어 있는 염화수소(HCL), 불화수소(HF), 황산화물(SO2) 등의 산성가스를 효율적으로 제거할 수 있는 반건식 반응탑에서의 다단 원심력을 이용한 배기가스 유도장치를 제공함에 있다.
상기한 바와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은, 폐기물을 소각 처리하기 위한 소각로와, 이 소각로에서 배출되는 고온의 배기가스를 냉각시키기 위한 폐열 보일러와, 이 폐열 보일러로부터 덕트를 통해 유입되는 배기가스에 액상 소석회를 분사하여 가스상의 오염물질을 흡착하기 위한 반건식 반응탑과, 이 반응탑의 후단에 배치되어 중금속이나 다이옥신류를 포집하기 위한 활성탄 공급부와, 배기가스 상에 함유된 미립자를 제거하기 위한 백 필터로 이루어진 통상의 집진 설비로서, 상기 폐열 보일러의 덕트로부터 배기가스가 유입되는 반응탑의 상단부에 원심력을 부여하기 위한 가스유도수단이 마련되어 있으며, 이 가스유도수단은 덕트의 선단부가 고정 설치되도록 절결부를 갖는 원통형상의 외통체와, 이 외통체 내부의 동일 중심선 상에 배설되는 원통형상의 내통체와, 이들 외,내통체의 중앙부에 장착되는 파이프의 끝단부에 액상 소석회를 공급하기 위한 노즐로 이루어져 있고, 상기 덕트로부터 외통체 내부로 유입되는 배기가스가 내통체의 외주벽을 따라 선회하면서 내통체를 통해 반응탑으로 인입될 수 있도록 구성한 것을 특징으로 한다.
또, 상기 내통체의 외주벽에는 덕트로부터의 배기가스를 유입시키기 위한 곡선형상의 유도판이 순차적으로 설치되어 있는 동시에 이들 유도판이 장착되는 내통체에 각각의 유통공이 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.
또한, 상기 가스유도수단이 반응탑 상에 복수로 설치되어 배기가스가 하나의 덕트로부터 각각의 유통로를 통해 반응탑으로 인입될 수 있도록 구성한 것을 특징으로 한다.
상술한 바와 같은 특징을 가지는 본 발명은 배기가스가 유입되는 덕트와 반응탑 사이에 가스유도수단이 설치되어 원심력을 갖도록 하였기 때문에 종전과 같이 배기가스의 흐름 변화에 따라 발생하는 편류현상을 방지할 수 있는 것이다.
또한, 상기 가스유도수단을 구성하는 외통체와 내통체 사이에 복수의 유도판을 순차적으로 장착하여 반응탑 내로 배기가스를 분할 유입시킬 수 있도록 함에 따라 노즐에서 분사되는 약품의 체류시간이나 반응시간을 최대한 증가시킴으로써 배기가스 중에 함유되어 있는 산성가스를 보다 효율적으로 제거할 수 있는 것임은 물론 약품이 반응탑 내부에 고착되는 현상을 최소화 할 수 있는 것이다.

이하, 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 상세하게 설명한다.
먼저, 첨부된 도 1은 일반적인 집진 설비를 개략적으로 도시한 도면으로서, 이 도면에 나타나 있는 바와 같이 각종 생활 쓰레기나 고형 폐기물을 소각 처리하기 위한 소각로(10) 및 이 소각로(10)에 덕트(11a)를 통해 연결된 폐열 보일러(12)가 구비되어 있고, 이 폐열 보일러(12)에는 덕트(11b)를 개재하여 염화수소(HCL)나 불화수소(HF), 황산화물(SO2) 등과 같은 산성가스를 제거하기 위한 반건식 반응탑 (13)이 설치되어 있다.
또한, 상기 반건식 반응탑(13)의 후단에는 활성탄(Activated Carbon)을 공급하여 중금속이나 다이옥신류를 포집하기 위한 활성탄 공급부(14) 및 그 외의 비산물질을 걸러내기 위한 백 필터(15)가 마련되어 있으며, 이 백 필터(15)를 거쳐 정화된 배기가스는 최종적으로 송풍기(16)의 가동에 의해 강제적으로 연도(17)를 따라 대기중으로 방출시킬 수 있도록 구성되어 있다.
즉, 상기 소각로(10)에서 연소되어 발생하는 고온의 배기가스는 폐열 보일러(12)를 통과하면서 200℃∼250℃ 정도로 냉각되어 기체상의 다이옥신을 입자상의 다이옥신으로 만들어 포집 가능하도록 한 후, 이 폐열 보일러(12)를 통과한 배기가스는 반건식 반응탑(13)으로 유입된다.
이에 따라, 상기 반건식 반응탑(13) 내로 분사되는 액상 소석회[Ca(OH)2]에 의해 배기가스 내에 함유되어 있는 염화수소(HCL), 불화수소(HF), 황산화물(SO2) 등의 산성가스와 반응함으로써 황산칼륨(CaSO4)이나 황산나트륨(Na2SO4) 또는 염화칼슘(CaCl2)이나 염화나트륨(NaCl) 등으로 전환이 이루어진다.
또, 상기 반건식 반응탑(13)을 통과하는 배기가스 중에 포함되어 있는 중금속 물질이나 다이옥신류는 활성탄 공급부(14)로부터 제공되는 활성탄에 의해 흡착되고, 그 일부는 백 필터(15)로 유입됨에 따라 여과포에 의해 먼지, 미반응 흡수제, 활성탄 등을 포집하게 되며, 이 후 각 장치를 통과한 청정가스는 연도(17)를 통해 대기로 배출되는 것이다.
한편, 첨부된 도 2 내지 도 5는, 상기 폐열 보일러(12)로부터 배기가스가 유입되는 덕트(11b) 및 반건식 반응탑(13)의 사이에 설치되어 배기가스에 원심력을 부여하기 위한 가스유도수단을 설명하기 위한 도면이다.
즉, 상기 가스유도수단은 덕트(11b)의 선단부가 고정 설치되는 외통체(20A) 및 이 외통체(20A) 내의 동일 중심선 상에 일체형으로 장착되는 내통체(20B)로 이루어지고, 이들 외,내통체(20A,20B)의 중앙부를 관통하는 파이프(22a)의 선단에 반응탑(13) 내로 에어(Air) 및 액상 소석회를 공급하기 위한 노즐(22b)이 장착되어 있다.
상기 외통체(20A)의 일측면에는 길이방향으로 절결홈(21)이 형성되어 덕트 (11b)의 끝단부가 용접되거나 통상의 체결수단에 의해 결속될 수 있으며, 상기 외통체(20A)의 상단부는 파이프(22a)가 장착되도록 조립공(23a)을 갖는 상판(24a)에 의해 용접됨과 동시에 하단부는 내통체(20B)가 끼워지는 관통공(23b)을 갖는 바닥판(24b)이 용접되어 있다.
또한, 상기 내통체(20B)의 외주벽에는 덕트(11b)로부터의 배기가스를 반응탑(13) 내로 유입시키기 위하여 곡선형상으로 이루어진 4개의 유도판(25)이 상방향에서 하방향으로 소정 간격을 두고 순차적으로 설치되어 있다.
이들 유도판(25)의 양단부는 외통체(20A)의 내주면 및 내통체(20B)의 외주면에 각각 용접 처리되어 일체형으로 장착됨과 동시에 각각의 유도판(25)이 용접되는 부분의 내통체(20B)에 유통공(26a)이 형성되어 있다.
이러한 구성에 의해, 상기 덕트(11b)로부터 외통체(20A) 내로 유입되는 배기가스가 내통체(20B)의 외주벽을 따라 선회하면서 유도판(25) 및 유통공(26a)을 통해 내통체(20B)를 거쳐 반응탑(13) 내로 인입시킬 수 있게 된다.
따라서, 상기 노즐(22)로부터 분사되는 액상 소석회에 의해 배기가스 내에 함유되어 있는 산성가스와 반응하여 유해성분을 제거하게 되는데, 이 때 상기 배기가스가 원심력에 의해 선회하면서 반응탑(13) 내부로 진입하게 되므로 체류시간 및 반응시간을 증가시킬 수 있는 것이다.
이에 따라, 기존의 반건식 반응탑(13)에 의한 산성가스의 제거 효율이 90%를 넘지 못하였으나 본 발명에 따른 가스유도수단을 적용할 경우 적어도 95% 이상을 상회하는 효과를 나타낼 수 있다.
도 6 및 도 7은, 전술한 바와 같은 가스유도수단이 반응탑(13) 상에 복수로 설치되는 경우를 예시한 도면으로서, 상기 폐열 보일러(12)로부터 하나의 덕트 (11b)로 이송되는 배기가스를 2개로 분리 구성된 유통로(27a,27b) 및 가스유도수단을 통해 반응탑(13) 내부로 인입되도록 하거나 혹은 4개의 유통로(28a∼28d) 및 가스유도수단을 통해 반응탑(13) 내부로 인입되도록 할 경우에도 단일의 가스유도수단에 비해 동등 이상의 효과를 발휘할 수 있는 것이다.
이상에서와 같은 기술적 구성에 의해 본 발명의 기술적 과제가 달성되는 것이며, 비록 한정된 실시예와 도면에 의해 설명되었으나 여기에 한정되지 않고 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에 의해 본 발명의 기술사상과 아래에 기재될 특허청구범위의 균등범위 내에서 다양한 수정 및 변형이 가능한 것임은 물론이다.

- 폐기물을 소각 처리하기 위한 소각로와, 이 소각로에서 배출되는 고온의 배기가스를 냉각시키기 위한 폐열 보일러와, 이 폐열 보일러로부터 덕트를 통해 유입되는 배기가스에 액상 소석회를 분사하여 가스상의 오염물질을 흡착하기 위한 반건식 반응탑과, 이 반응탑의 후단에 배치되어 중금속이나 다이옥신류를 포집하기 위한 활성탄 공급부와, 배기가스 상에 함유된 미립자를 제거하기 위한 백 필터로 이루어진 통상의 집진 설비로서,
상기 폐열 보일러(12)의 덕트(11b)로부터 배기가스가 유입되는 반응탑(13)의 상단부에 원심력을 부여하기 위한 가스유도수단이 마련되어 있으며,
이 가스유도수단은 덕트(11b)의 선단부가 고정 설치되도록 절결홈(21)을 갖는 원통형상의 외통체(20A)와, 이 외통체 내부의 동일 중심선 상에 배설되는 원통형상의 내통체(20B)와, 이들 외,내통체(20A,20B)의 중앙부에 장착되는 파이프(22a)의 끝단부에 액상 소석회를 공급하기 위한 노즐(22b)로 이루어져 있고,
상기 덕트(11b)로부터 외통체(20A) 내부로 유입되는 배기가스가 내통체(20B)의 외주벽을 따라 선회하면서 내통체(20B)를 통해 반응탑(13)으로 인입될 수 있도록 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 반건식 반응탑에서의 다단 원심력을 이용한 배기가스 유도장치. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 내통체(20B)의 외주벽에는 덕트(11b)로부터의 배기가스를 유입시키기 위한 곡선형상의 유도판(25)이 순차적으로 설치되어 있는 동시에 이들 유도판(25)이 장착되는 내통체(20B)에 각각의 유통공(26a)이 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 반건식 반응탑에서의 다단 원심력을 이용한 배기가스 유도장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가스유도수단이 반응탑(13) 상에 복수로 설치되어 배기가스가 하나의 덕트(11b)로부터 각각의 유통로를 통해 반응탑(13)으로 인입될 수 있도록 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 반건식 반응탑에서의 다단 원심력을 이용한 배기가스 유도장치.
