Description
Claims (9)
- 주사선들 및 데이터선들의 교차부에 위치된 다수의 화소들을 포함하는 화소부와, 외부로부터 공급되는 데이터 및 데이터 구동전원에 대응하여 데이터신호를 생성하고 이를 상기 데이터선들로 공급하는 데이터 구동부를 포함하며,상기 데이터 구동부는,상기 데이터에 대응하여 데이터신호를 생성하는 데이터신호 생성부와,상기 데이터신호 생성부로부터 공급되는 상기 데이터신호를 전달하는 버퍼부와,상기 데이터선들로 상기 데이터신호가 공급되는 데이터 기입기간 동안 상기 데이터선들을 상기 데이터 구동전원의 입력라인 또는 상기 버퍼부의 출력라인에 선택적으로 연결하는 스위치부와,상기 스위치부를 제어하는 제어부를 포함하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제어부는, 이전 프레임의 데이터신호와 현재 프레임의 데이터신호를 비교하여 비교신호를 출력하는 비교부와, 상기 비교신호에 대응하여 상기 스위치부를 제어하는 제어신호를 생성하는 제어신호 생성부를 포함하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제어부는, 이전 프레임의 데이터신호의 전압레벨이 현재 프레임의 데이터신호의 전압레벨보다 낮은 경우, 한 데이터선의 데이터 기입기간 중 일 기간에는 상기 데이터선이 상기 데이터 구동전원의 입력라인과 연결되도록 하고, 나머지 기간에는 상기 데이터선이 상기 버퍼부의 출력라인과 연결되도록 상기 스위치부를 제어하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제어부는, 이전 프레임의 데이터신호의 전압레벨이 현재 프레임의 데이터신호의 전압레벨보다 높은 경우, 상기 데이터 기입기간 동안 상기 데이터선들이 상기 버퍼부의 출력라인과 연결되도록 상기 스위치부를 제어하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 버퍼부는, 상기 데이터신호 생성부와 상기 스위치부 사이에 접속되며, 상기 데이터 구동전원을 승압한 승압전원에 의해 구동되는 출력 증폭기를 포함하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 데이터 구동부는, 상기 데이터 구동전원을 승압하기 위한 승압회로를 더 포함하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 데이터선으로 데이터신호가 공급되는 데이터 기입기간을 복수의 기간으로 분할하는 단계와,상기 복수의 기간 중 일 기간 동안 상기 데이터선을 데이터 구동전원의 입력라인에 연결하여 상기 데이터선을 선충전하는 단계와,상기 일 기간에 후속되는 나머지 데이터 기입기간 동안 상기 데이터선을 데이터신호 생성부의 출력단에 접속된 증폭기의 출력라인에 연결하여 상기 데이터선에 데이터신호를 충전하는 단계를 포함하는 유기전계발광 표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,이전 프레임의 데이터신호의 전압레벨과 현재 프레임의 데이터신호의 전압레벨을 비교하여 상기 데이터선의 선충전여부를 제어하는 제어신호를 생성하는 단계를 더 포함하는 유기전계발광 표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 이전 프레임의 데이터신호의 전압레벨이 상기 현재 프레임의 데이터신호의 전압레벨보다 낮은 경우에만 상기 데이터선을 선충전하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치의 구동방법.
