Abstract
Description
Claims (7)
- 광원으로부터의 광을 공간 광변조 소자에 의해 변조하여 화상을 투사하는 프로젝터의 광원 구동 방법으로서,구동 전류를 제어함으로써 자동 초점 조정시와 통상시에서 광원으로의 구동 파형을 상이하게 제공하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 광원 구동 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광원이, 상기 자동 초첨 조정시에는 제 1 구동 파형으로 구동되고, 상기 통상시에는 상기 제 1 구동 파형에 전류가 더 가산된 제 2 구동 파형으로 구동되는, 광원 구동 방법.
- 광원으로부터의 광을 공간 광변조 소자에 의해 변조하여 화상을 투사하는 프로젝터로서,광원으로 구동 파형을 출력하는 광원 구동부 및 상기 광원 구동부로부터 출력되는 상기 구동 파형에 대하여 제어 가능한 지시를 행하는 전류 제어 지시부를 포함하며,상기 전류 제어 지시부는, 광원으로의 구동 파형을 자동 초점 조정시와 통상시에서 상이하게 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 프로젝터.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 광원은, 상기 자동 초점 조정시에는 제 1 구동 파형으로 구동되고, 상기 통상시에는 상기 제 1 구동 파형에 전류가 더 가산된 제 2 구동 파형으로 구동되는, 프로젝터.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 전류 제어 지시부는, 상기 광원 구동부로부터 출력되는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 구동 파형을 스위칭하기 위한 제어 가능한 지시를 행하는, 프로젝터.
- 제 3 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 자동 초첨 조정을 수행하기 위해서, 투사 화상의 반사광을 받아 화상 데이터를 취득하는 화상 취득부, 및상기 화상 취득부에 의해 취득된 화상 데이터에 의거하여 처리를 하는 화상 처리부를 포함하는, 프로젝터.
- 제 5 항에 의한 프로젝터에서의 광원 구동 장치로서,상기 전류 제어 지시부를 제어하는 제어부를 더 포함하는, 광원 구동 장치.
