Abstract

A structure of sensing an opened/closed state of a hood is provided to preclude a large space in an engine room from being excessively used by transmitting a transmission signal to an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) when a fixing part and a hinge pin are communicated. A hinge pin(30) of a hood hinge is installed between an inner panel of a hood and a vehicle body. Conductor regions and non-conductor regions are arranged to fixing parts(10a) of a hinge arm(10) respectively. The conductor regions and the non-conductor regions are contacted when the hood is closed respectively. The conductor regions are contacted when the hood is opened to transfer the transmission signal to the ECU(Electronic Control Unit). The fixing part is made of a conductive metal material, and each non-conductor region is coated with a non-conductive material.
