Claims (16)
- 양극 및 음극 사이에 유기 고분자로 이루어지는 발광층을 끼운 구조의 전계 발광 소자로서,상기 유기 고분자는 파장 400nm 내지 600nm 범위의 발광을 이루고,상기 발광층과 상기 양극 및 상기 음극 중 적어도 한쪽과의 사이에, 발광에 기여하지 않는 불필요한 전류를 억제하는 박막층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계 발광 소자.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 박막층은 상기 음극과 상기 발광층 사이에 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 박막층이 알칼리 금속의 플루오르화물 또는 산화물, 알칼리 토류 금속의 플루오르화물 또는 산화물, 및 주기율 제 3족 원소의 플루오르화물 또는 산화물로 이루어지는 군(群)으로부터 선택되는 적어도 1종의 재료로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 박막층은 상기 양극과 상기 발광층 사이에 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 발광층과 상기 양극 사이에 정공 주입층 또는 도전성을 갖는 버퍼층이 두께 100nm 이상으로 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 유기 고분자가 폴리플루오렌 또는 그 유도체인 것을 특징으로 하는 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 유기 고분자가 폴리파라페닐렌비닐렌(poly(p-phenylenevinylene)) 또는 그 유도체인 것을 특징으로 하는 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 유기 고분자의 중합도는 2이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 발광층은 복수의 발광 재료층이 적층되어 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 유기 고분자로 이루어지는 발광층이 인쇄법에 의해 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 인쇄법이 잉크젯법인 것을 특징으로 하는 전계 발광 소자.

- 복수의 제 1 전극과,상기 복수의 제 1 전극의 각각에 따라 설치된 발광층과,상기 복수의 제 1 전극의 각각에 따라서, 상기 발광층을 구획하는 격벽과,상기 복수의 제 1 전극에 대하여 공통으로 설치된 제 2 전극과,상기 발광층과 상기 제 2 전극 사이, 및 상기 격벽과 상기 제 2 전극 사이에 설치되어, 상기 복수의 제 1 전극에 대하여 공통으로 설치된 절연성 박막층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계 발광 소자.
