Claims (12)
- 주 증폭기와 보조 증폭기의 입력단에 구현되어 주 증폭기의 출력 전력과 보조 증폭기의 출력 전력의 위상이 서로 일치되도록 위상차를 보상해주는 위상차 보상 수단과;상기 주 증폭기의 출력전력과 상기 보조 증폭기의 출력전력을 인가받아 출력단으로 전송하는 출력 정합부와;상기 출력단의 줄력전력의 크기를 검출하고, 상기 검출된 출력 전력의 크기에 따라 상기 보조 증폭기로 인가되는 입력 전압을 제어하되, 상기 출력단과 상기 보조 증폭기 사이에 피드백 루프를 이루도록 하는 전압 제어 수단을 구비하여 이루어지는 휴대용 단말기의 전력 증폭 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 위상차 보상 수단은,상기 주 증폭기와 보조 증폭기에 일정한 입력 전력을 분배해주고, 서로의 간섭을 최소화시켜주며, 상기 보조 증폭기의 입력 전력이 상기 주 증폭기의 입력 전력보다 90˚지연되도록 신호를 전달하는 3dB 하이브리드 결합기로 구현되는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 단말기의 전력 증폭 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 3dB 하이브리드 결합기는,럼프트 소자들로 구현되는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 단말기의 전력 증폭 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 3dB 하이브리드 결합기는,LTCC 기법으로 구현되는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 단말기의 전력 증폭 장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 위상차 보상수단은,하나의 전송 라인으로 구현되는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 단말기의 전력 증폭 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 위상차 보상수단은,럼프트 소자로 구현되는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 단말기의 전력 증폭 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 출력 정합부는,럼프트 소자들로 구현되는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 단말기의 전력 증폭 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 출력 정합부는,LTCC 기법으로 구현되는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 단말기의 전력 증폭 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 전압 제어 수단은,상기 출력 정합부에서 상기 출력단으로 전송되어지는 출력 전력의 크기를 검출하는 포락선 검출부와;상기 포락선 검출부로부터 인가받은 출력 전력의 크기가 낮은 출력 전력 영역을 벗어나는 지를 비교 판단하는 비교 판단부와;상기 비교 판단부의 비교 판단결과에 따라 상기 보조 증폭기로 인가되는 입력 전압을 제어하는 전압 제어부를 구비하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 단말기의 전력 증폭 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 전압 제어 수단은,상기 출력 정합부에서 상기 출력단으로 전송되어지는 출력 전력의 크기를 검출하여 낮은 출력 전력 영역을 벗어나지 않는 경우에는 전력 증폭 장치가 도허티 모드로 동작하도록 상기 보조 증폭기의 입력 전압을 제어하고,상기 출력 정합부에서 상기 출력단으로 전송되어지는 출력 전력의 크기가 낮은 출력 전력 영역을 벗어나는 경우에는 전력 증폭 장치의 비선형 특성을 만족하는 지점까지 상기 보조 증폭기의 입력 전압을 끌어올리도록 상기 보조 증폭기의 입력 전압을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 단말기의 전력 증폭 장치.
