Abstract

PURPOSE: A multi-channel headphone system is provided to widen a soundstaging more and simultaneously improve comfortableness more. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of speaker units are disposed at each of ears of a listener and reproduce discriminate sounds, respectively. The plurality of speaker units are mounted at a plurality of enclosers(20,20'), respectively. A soundstaging forming member(30') is worn to surround ears of the listener, supports the enclosers, and has an inner surface for forming a space where a sound from the supported enclosers is collected at the ears of the listener. A sound plate(50) is installed between ends of enclosers supported by the soundstaging forming member and has a plurality of slots(51) opened so as to control a direct sound and a reflected sound from the speaker units.
