Abstract

PURPOSE: A rear suspension device of a torsion beam shaft type is provided to devise the rotation stability by inducing a weak under steer to a positive under steer. CONSTITUTION: A rear suspension device contains rotation joint potion(22), a wheel carrier(24), a connecting arm(28) and a toe control link(30). The rotation joint portion is integrally formed in both sides of a torsion beam shaft(20). The wheel carrier supports the rotation of a wheel(26) by installing in the rotation joint portion to be rotatable. The connecting arm is installed in the rotation joint portion. The toe control link is installed in the connecting arm to guide a toe-in. Thereby, the rotation stability is secured and the difference of rotation characteristics between left wheels and right wheels is overcome.
